Looks good sitting on black range. Works as it should. Appreciate the whistle! (Made this switch from an electric kettle, as I would forget causing the safety feature to kick off after boil reached, and I would have to start the process, again, when I finally remembered.)

I expected it to be the same size as a regular kettle, but it was about 3/4 size. Yet I will say it is made very well & solid. Heats water up fast, so now, it really doesn’t matter to me that its size is smaller.

A nifty little tea, kettle, and a reasonable value for the money. Although it is advertised as a stainless steel tea kettle only the bottom is made of steel, and this is the reason for not giving 5 stars. The kettle itself is aluminum. I like its looks and its size. The whistle is clear and not so loud as to be obnoxious. Its construction seems durable, and with normal use and care, should give several years of good service.

The tea kettle is way more lightweight than I expected it to be. However, from reading the maintenance instructions, I learned all the things I did wrong with my last heavier duty tea kettle. For that alone, I give this five stars. I also like the extra lock feature on the lid so hot water cannot accidentally spill. This seems like it is going to last longer than the last tea kettle I had, judging from the safety features alone.

I was in need of a tea kettle outside of occasional cup of soup and seasonal cup of herbal tea. I had a limited budget for my purchase.It does the job the handle tilts easy to fill, shows the limit line lightweight. I can hear the whistle two rooms away. I purchased this item under $10 received it in 24hrs.

kettle instruction doesn't say how much time.filled Tap water to the max. level it showed.Tap water: normal: not hot not cold.Took me 15 mins.Whistle came: it was loud enough.Looks small, but holds a few cups: did not check.The kettle opening, you need to be careful,It spouts steam, for a long time.For a few boiling moments [5-7], the color has not changed.Instructions do say wipe dry after use.

It’s pretty basic, I had only used it once and there were like permanent stains left inside, so I didnt use it again. You get what you paid for so to speak.

I especially liked the care & instructions; it described things that will allow me to enjoy many years of use with this product.
