Wow. It's amazing and better than anticipated. Don't let the consistency fool you. Not kidding one wash and my hair feels clean and healthy like when you leave the salon. I don't know why I am surprised because LL has the best products!

UPDATE: I am still using the bottle that I purchased in April 2019, and I still use daily, and it is now coming into mid November 2019. As far as I am concerned, if the bottle lasts this long the price is not bad at all! I am ready to jump in and try the conditioner also, which I did not purchase the first go round. I still love the shampoo. A happy customer!!The scent is clean. I did not expect much lather, and there is very little. It does make my curly hair curlier, which was not necessarily my goal :) My hair feels clean after using. I checked the pH, and it is 3, which is slightly more acidic than ideal. The goal would be between 5-7. I had written a note to the company asking what the pH was but did not receive a reply, so I decided to do what I needed to find out myself. Yes, it is spendy for a shampoo, but I have relatively short hair and use about the size of a dime at each shampoo, which I do daily to control which direction my curly hair shoots off in, so hopefully it will last a little while for me. I do not think my hair feels more dried out than before I started using the shampoo, but I will ask my hairdresser when I go in next.

It has taken me soooo long to try to find a shampoo + conditioner that doesn’t leave my scalp greasy or with dandruff. My hair and scalp has never felt better. I have used this shampoo with the Shine On conditioner and it’s truly perfect my hair comes out so SHINY and SOFT every time! I noticed that I can go longer in between washes too. The fact that it is non-toxic with pure ingredients just makes it even more perfect🙌🏽😍

I try to use only 100% organic, natural products on my skin and hair, and I was very happy to find this shampoo. It's not an everyday shampoo for me, since it can be drying. It's a great clarifying shampoo, however, which I use once per week. It cleanses really well, making my hair feel light and full, and the Shine On conditioner (which lasts much longer than the same-size bottle of shampoo) helps to mitigate the drying effects.Today I returned to amazon for another bottle, then thought I'd first check out the Living Libations website to find that it is MUCH less expensive ordered directly from the company (today, $36.00 (LL) vs. $46.00 (amazon), plus free shipping from LL). And Living Libations carries a host of fabulous face, body, sun, oral care, and other products there. I'm excited to try more of them!One more point, about the shampoo's scent: yes, it does have a fairly strong herbal scent. But I like it, and I've actually received a couple of compliments on it when people lean for a hug.

Like most other reviews, I’ll say it is quite expensive for the amount that you receive. That being said, I don’t have much hair so one ounce should last me a couple of months. It does clean my hair quite nicely and has a great aroma. The first few time that I used it my head was tingly almost too tingly but lately is hasn’t been as bad. I like knowing that I’m not putting a bunch of chemicals on my head like with traditional shampoos.

This shampoo is unlike any other organic/natural shampoo I've tried. Pros: it definitely cleans your hair, I noticed it does suds up well unlike other organic shampoos - and it's easy to wash out of your hair. Cons: I noticed that it dried my scalp out and left me with dandruff. Other things: it has a very strong smell, which is a pro or a con depending if you actually like the smell. I don't mind the smell, and it does linger in your hair even after drying. Over all, if it wasn't for the lack of hydrating I'd give it a 4 or 5. But I'll be sticking with my Calia's Organic Shampoo!

Divine is the word I think of for this shampoo. Visually it is beautiful, positively golden in color. It smells amazing - pure, refreshing, potent, the perfect balance of smells. It is wonderful to use, the perfect amount of suds, a little goes a long way, it feels amazing and very cleansing. After using, my hair felt and looked great, even enhanced my natural hair color I believe. It air dried very nicely without any conditioner. I am so happy with the very wonderful ingredients in this shampoo (I stopped using commercial shampoos several years ago). Also, the only saponifiers are yucca and coco protein, completely natural and nourishing. This was my first time using this shampoo, and I am completely hooked. Even though it is expensive, it is completely worth it. It lasted me three months (I wash my hair twice a week), and my husband even used it a handful of times (he loves it too)! Plus a tip, if you buy in bulk the larger sizes, it is less expensive. Truly, Living Libations is the perfect name for this company. I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone who wants to use pure organic products for healthy natural hair.

If you haven't tried Living Libations you're missing out. I'm not a "natural freak" but I sure do love natural products that do what they say, last a long time, and are nourishing (not stripping). I tried this shampoo three years ago and have never gone back... it's the best. It'll lather slightly in your hands with some water. I can go about 4 days now without shampooing.
