A great egg poacher
I wanted to wait and see how this product fares over time but after near two years of use, it is holding up very well. I have destroyed two very expensive egg poachers in the last ten years so I decided to go for a cheap one and what a surprise - it actually is true to its claims. The nonstick works well. The bottom of the pan is covered with stains because of our hard water but that happened with the expensive stainless steel pans too. I was weary of the eggs receptacles being non removable (it is a solid unit as the picture shows) but that actually make it much easier to clean and it is easy to remove the cooked eggs too.I do a light spray of oil before putting in the eggs as otherwise the eggs would stick and cleanup would be miserable. I use this product about twice a week on average.

Good poacher...badly made
I love this egg poacher but only a few weeks after I began using it the "paint" on the inside of the pan began to bubble up and come off. I also noticed it is beginning to rust in those spots as well as underneath the insert. I will be looking for one like this but is not "painted."

Easy to use, easy to clean
I am very pleased with this little pan. I usually only cook 2 eggs at a time and wanted something I could set up and get some other stuff done like coffee and kids breakfast and lunch ready. In a few minutes, I have water boiling, I rub a little butter on the sections I want to use before dropping the eggs in there, and 5-6 minutes later I have 'medium' eggs ready. Being able to pull the eggs off the water is helpful to me since I am usually in the middle of things and then I can get to them in turn letting them cool down. Super easy to clean!

Works great but, wish the handle inside was heat resistant
I use this egg poacher quite often as I love poached eggs. I've owned a few poachers so, I'll just list the pros and cons of this one.Pros: Inexpensive, as long as I add a bit of margarine in the cups the eggs don't stick, the eggs cook in no time as this pan heats up very quickly, seems to be quite durable so far.Cons: This arrives without the handle attached, you will have to screw on the handle, also the biggest con to me is that the handle on the inside of the pan isn't heat resistant. You will have to use a pot holder or something to keep your fingers from burning. It would've been a great touch to have a heat resistant handle.Overall, I'd purchase this poacher again, good inexpensive poacher set.

Works great. Excellent value!
I think this egg poacher is great. I use mine once or twice a week and always wash it in the dishwasher. I have not had any problems with eggs sticking, paint peeling, or rust that I have read about in some other reviews. It is admittedly a light duty pan, but its purpose is just to boil water. If you're looking for a general purpose kitchen skillet this isn't it, but as an egg poacher this is top shelf. It is a great value for $22. I recommend it.

Fine as an egg poacher, but skip it as a skillet
This works just fine as an egg poacher, but don't bother if you're looking for a skillet, too. A single screw holds the handle on (that will eventually work loose, and is a cheap manufacturing process). Non-stick coating, again, is fine for egg poaching, but seems dated and cheap. To be sure, this is not an expensive poacher, and is a good solution for those who enjoy poached eggs. Just don't look at it as a kitchen skillet cure-all.

Very disappointed
This poacher has worked well for the past two months we've had it. However, the eggs always stick to the poaching cups even with the use of oil and the cups are difficult to clean. Also, the pan started to chip and rust after the third use. We wash it by hand and use a mild soap but the chipping keeps getting worse. I can't recommend this product because the quality of the pan is poor.

much bigger than my old one
I just received this but I used it only once and I love it. Its bigger than my old one was and I love that you can poach 4 at a time my old one only did 3 and it was a lot smaller. I barely put in just a little bit of butter and the eggs came out so perfectly they slid right out of the pan a little too easily I had a couple fly right off so definitely very non stick haha. Anyway this is a great pan and recommend it.
