Acme Citrus Attachment for Acme 5001 and 6001 Juicers

Q: I have this attachment, but the plastic ring, which fits into the top part then goes over the spindle, broke. Is it possible to just get this part?

I really don't know about getting just that broken part, but I do know that this juicer is so terrific I would buy the entire juicer attachment again as replacement. I just juiced 32 lbs. of lemons from my Meyer lemon tree on my Acme and it was a breeze. Problem free. If the plastic ring on mine broke, I'd buy a whole new citrus attachment and keep on juicing.

Q: What is the citrus reamer made out of, ceramic, plastic, enameled metal?

It's made of very durable hard plastic. I've had mine for 3 years and had no problems. I consider it a good product.

Q: Would this part work with an older model waring professional juice extractor? My model is 11JE38

That would appear to work. When I googled your juicer, the citrus attachment seems to be the same as this new part. My juicer is even older than yours! From 1977! And it works perfectly with it. So I say go for it!
