I bought this because my 1 year old cat has the bad habit to drink from the toilet seat. I never understood why he does this because I used to put a fresh ball of water every day. My other cat is now drinking more water so, this little fountain increased the amount of fluids the cats are drinking. PROS Easy to assemble. It comes with a few filters. I love the design of the flower and the metal plate, which I find easier to clean. I read a review about the flower not being in place and as a result the person complained about the noise. Before put the fountain to work, I made sure that I have allowed to lime for Silent and the sound of the water running has been very relaxing for me. CONS ITS TOO CUTE!! This is a 2nd water fountain for my cats it's so quite compared to the other the blue light is lovely and bright so much easier to see when it needs topping up, great to have spares including a non slip mat yo place it on and little brushes to clean it . I'm really pleased with this if I have a negative it would be the plug does not fit our socket's but am using a usb plug I already had. All in all great quality and price would recommend.

It’s pretty, especially at night with its blue light, except my cats haven’t drank from it yet. They have just moved home so it may be the reason... It’s easy to assemble, will be easy to clean, and it’s not too loud (the room has a boiler in it so I can’t hear the fountain at all. The plastic is slightly thinner than I imagined, but sturdy enough. The only worry is that the steel dish doesn’t hold water, so I’m concerned about power cuts. The cats won’t have access because the only place they can drink are the little streams from the plastic flower, or the bubbling water in the hole in the middle if the flower is removed. It would be useful to either redesign or supply backup batteries that would make it run for a day or two even on power outage. Oh and the charger has a USB end, which may or may not be helpful.

As an elder person I was able to put the rest of the water fountain together quite easily. I haven't blown the house up at least not yet ha ha ha.The fountain is very quiet as not to bother pet(s) when drinking. The water pad for underneath very durable. The blue light gives a clear indication of water levels.

This product certainly looks the business and performs very well at delivering filtered water. The cats initially were scared of it, possibly due to the bright light that humans might need but which cats, due to the way thier eyes work, have no need of to see the water and the fountain at night. I gave it one star less for having this bright light otherwise it would have had the maximum of 5 star rating. It is not a night light as advertised, it stays on all the time as an indicator that the machine has water and turns to red when it requires refilling. The three different modes of delivering water make this product handy because if one water delivery method does not work for your animal you can try the other two. So far my cats have not drunk from it but we have had it a couple of days. They have however decided to play with the water and splash it around so having a mat to stand it on helps reduce the amount of water that gets on the carpet. They will in time try drinking from it, we hope, but for now we leave another bowl of water down for them so they have a choice and do not go thirsty whilst getting to know they can drink instead of playing with the water. For the price it is worth trying and allowing your pet plenty of time to get used to it. Cats are high on the autistic spectrum and do not handle change too well so it is worth persevering as in time they will adapt but whilst they do please ensure they have another source of water available. So an update: cats now both drinking from it after about 10 days, also playing with the water and using it in their paws to wash their faces, LOL.

Fountain stopped working after 3 months. Complete waste of money

Have bought quite a few of these types of fountain so far and the Parner one is the best of the bunch that I've tried. Pros are that it comes with a waterproof mat, silicone brushes (small/large) and 4 replacement filters out of the box. It also includes the plug but so have the others I've tried. The brushes really help with cleaning and save a few quid on the purchase cost. The mat really helps if you have cats that play with the water. Cons are that the filters have to be replaced fairly often. Much more frequently than stated in my opinion. Any longer than a week (with one or two water changes within that time frame) and you risk the water going bad and the whole unit starting to smell a bit like pond water. Once that happens, you won't easily get the smell out. I would imagine it's the same with most types of fountain so I won't hold that against this type. Cleaning is also bit of effort but you get the hang of it. Definitely a good entry level fountain to see if it encourages your pets to drink a bit more water.

It does the job. Looks good. Fountain is quiet and light. I had expected a taller flower head with a faster water flow but it works fine and I like the steel tray as it looks clean. One of my cats has so far resisted it so we had to bring the pet mate fountain back and use it in another room for her. Other cat prefers this one though. On the whole good, but could be better
