While they are clear and have a ball head, they are FLAT otherwise - like the gas station wooden coffee stirrers and will not last very long with use. I erroneously thought that they were round cylindrical sticks with a ball head, which is what I was looking for. I'm disappointed in these. But the price was excellent, so I will keep them as a reminder of my mistake - and keep looking for the round ones.Shipping was really fast, and I love the zippered pouch they came in!

I use these for caketoppers and they are great for that. They are flat which is what I was hoping for but couldn't tell exactly from the pictures. Easy to take off the little round part on the end with heavy duty scissors.
