Not Jeans !
Exactly what I was looking for. I hate the "skinny jeans" craze that is going on now. Tight "flat front" pants only fit when standing at attention and bunch up when sitting or bending and are not good if you want to keep a wallet (or anything) in your front pocket. Try to find pleated "tactical" pants and you will discover that this is your only option. The waist is partially elastic, so go ahead & order 2" larger than what you normally wear (the waist size indicated is probably WITH the elastic stretched). The length will be 2-3" too long at first, but wash them 6-8 times and the length will gradually shrink to the indicated length. The length seems to shrink more than the waist does. These are rip-stop and are NOT JEANS!!! Every piece of rip-stop I have ever experienced (clothing or outdoors fabric) is slightly rough compared to denim jeans because of the tough strings that are cross-interwoven into the fabric. The fabric is thin, which is very good when it is hot, or if you want to wear thermals under them. I have worn the hell out of the 2 pair I have and there is no sign of fabric wearing thin yet (not even in the crotch area). This is because of the rip-stop fabric. These 2 pair have been through approximately 40 wash/dry cycles each. My only complaints are that the belt loops are placed strangely and that the pants don't come in different (darker) colors. Nice to see that the price has come down some. I will be ordering more.

Waist was a good fit
Very light weight fabric. Was a good fit in the waist. The 30 length needs to be re hemmed for a better fit. I knew this would have to be done as my true length is closer to a 29. Fortunately my wife is skilled in this. it would be nice if they carried the odd size lengths. The fabric is much lighter in weight than a gene or other casual pants. Not the same material. Will see how this wears but expect it will be cooler than regular fabric. Have not had enough time to assess durability.

Totally disappointed that the quality control of Wrangler as well as ...
Excited upon receipt but upon futher inspection the zipper was broken. The lever that you use to pull up the zipper was missing. Totally disappointed that the quality control of Wrangler as well as amazon is ignored. Now because of this, the returned policy is such a time consumiing process I had to take them to be repaired and that is a hassle. This is what I had to do to make the commitment I had purchased these pants for. The amazon people were nice to me but I wish this situatiion would have been prevented if they had a better quality control.

Wrangler Angler pants
The pants were as expected. When ordering these pants, get a size larger than your regular size for best fit.L have had a pair of the Angler pants since 2014, and I'll continue to get them because they are comfortable, light-weight, and durable.

He loves the pants, but they are not designed to fit HIS body ....
My husband LOVED these pants (the feel, lightness), however, as is common for his body style, they did not fit, as he puts it, in the "butt" area. Too short, revealing the dreaded "plumbers crack". I so wish they'd have fit!

Great - if you don't mind ironing
my husband loves these. He like how they fit at the ankle - not necessarily tapered but fits nicely over his boots. Only thing is these are a wrinkle nightmare, no matter how quickly you remove from the dryer.

These fit far smaller than advertised
The quality seems good, but the fit was much smaller than advertised. I always wear 46x30 pants in every other brand....Eddie Bauer, Cabelas, Haggar, etc. I even have several other pair of Wrangler pants that are 46x30 and fit fine. But these "Angler Relaxed Fit" are anything but a "relaxed fit".Maybe I just got unlucky and got a pair that were marked wrong...? But heck I can even fit into size 44 pants with no trouble, and these were even tight if they would have been a size 44. Nothing wrong with the quality at all, it's just the size was not accurate.
