Covers well but if you need two coats wait at least 4 hrs. I was impressed. Colour matched the images.

OK paint but colours not as advertised & paint quality not quite as good as AS
I have worked with Annie Sloan chalk paint quite extensively in the past, however decided to go with Rust-Oleum this time around because of price. Only wanted to paint three small shelves, so didn't need much paint. In addition Annie Sloan is so difficult to get hold off, depending on where you live your only option is to order from special online suppliers who charge on average a minimum of £5 for delivery...so that adds up even more.In terms of paint performance Rust-Oleum was ok, but I'm not convinced it is as good let alone better than Annie Sloan. It's been a while since my last Annie Sloan project, but I seem to remember the paint went on very easily in comparison and basically 2 coats of Annie Sloan Old White and a very light sanding gave a me a very smooth finish back then . With Rust Oleum even after 3 coats and a light sanding I see many more brush stroaks than with Annie Sloan. Also, I thought the colour chart was slightly off. I bought "Antique White" expecting a neutral white colour, without any yellow tones, similar to Annie Sloan's "Old White" paint. I also bought "Chalk White" expecting a quite a cool white. Not as stark and in your face as Annie Sloan's "Pure White" but not far off. In reality, the so called "Antique White" is NOT at all white but clearly a creamcolour with obvious yellowish undertones. The "Chalk White" colour looks like Annie Sloan's "Old White". The latter worked well for my purpose, however if I would have needed a really cool 'chalk' tone such as AS's pure white, I have no idea whether RO even does such a white WHITE.I'm not planning any paint jobs in the near future, however if I did any big jobs again, I think I would probably go back to AS. For very small jobs like a single shelf or a mirror that are price sensitive, I might give RO a second chance.

Nice paint
I painted a corner cupboard my dad made years ago and it’s come out beautiful. He would of loved it if he was still around
