Bought 2, set up as Dipole... works GREAT!
For years I've been struggling to get a decent antenna to work he 20 meter band. My biggest problem is that the thing needed to be inconspicuous. I bought 2 of these 20 meter whips, bolted them to an all-weather junction box, wired them up, bolted them to a steel plate that has a ground running to earth (literally), and added an ugly homebrew RF choke for good measure.Cut to the chase, it works great! In the week it's been up there I've made contactsfrom Minnestoa to Panama, SC, FLA, TX, Massachusetts, Nevada, Maine, Michigan, British Columbia, Washington State, and I can hear loads of Spanish conversations that I assume are emanating from Mexico, although I haven't tried to talk to them (my Spanish is poor). The antenna is set up in an E-W orientation, but I seem to be covering most directions. It took a long time to dial in the SWR with my antenna tuner (started with the whips at full length, then shortened them 1/8 inch at a time), but it resonates well. I'm getting 85 watts out.The antenna can't be seen from the ground, only from the attic window. We had a nasty storm last week and it took no damage.Great product! I'm super happy. For less than a hundred bucks all in for all the bits and pieces I have a very serviceable 20m antenna. I may try adding 2 40's and see if I can't make it dual-mode.

Really nice quality
Using this with my Icom 7610--trying to do a low profile antenna set up and this should work well. Now that I have put this into service, it is doing a Fantastic job! Really amazing how this little stick antenna gets my signal out there for some good DX!!! Highly recommend you get this. Just be sure to adjust the length correct for the band you are operating on. And, remember to trim it back when you get a flat SWR. You have to trim it back and not just adjust the length out----trim the excess! Measure twice, measure SWR, then trim! ;-)

Incredible antenna
This is an unbelievable antenna (20m). I used it yesterday for the first time on a POTA (Parks on the Air) activation and it performed exceptionally. I only had it about 3' off the ground on a metal tripod and still made contacts as far away as 2500 miles (Massachusetts to the Azores). I have to say that the 40m version did not perform well at all. I was not able to make any contacts with it.

Great portable antenna
These sharks are great. Easy to transport and set up. They adjust fast. And best of all they work. I worked three countries in the first ten minutes of use. Mag mounted from the roof of my vehicle. You don't drive around with these antenna but they are very versatile. You can buy two and make a dipole. I have not tried this but they say they work great in this configuration.

Antenna works GREAT!
I am using this antenna as a mobile antenna on my truck with a Yaesu FT-891 radio. After tuning the antenna using an antenna analyzer I have been able to make contacts all over the country. I am impressed with this antenna. I also purchased the 40 meter version.
