This got the job done
Caveat,,,, Seems you are asking me to write a review about a month after I purchased and installed.... Replaced a malfunctioning flapper valve in our family's most used toilet. Installation of the flapper valve itself went well. I recall I had a bit of an issue connecting chain to lift bar... I can't complain too much, as there must be hundreds of slightly different assemblies out there.... It's been working without a hitch since. All is well.

These things work !
I tried one from WalMart, one from Bi Mart, one from Lowes, all with the same results. After you flush you have to wait until it stops filling to make sure the flapper sealed, most often you will need to jiggle the handle at least once to get it to seal. Not with this one, it seals first time every time. I now have four spares in case they quit making them. If you need to rebuild your toilet get one of these, if you don't you'll have to go get one later.

Works well. Makes a good seal. Suggestion: When replacing the flapper, scrub the base to remove any dirt. This helps the flapper make a good seal. (This is a good practice with any flapper, not just this one.)

Nice pair of Star Trek Enterprise NX-01 keychains; colors could be more accurate
Got this pair of Star Trek USS Enterprise NX-01 keychains as stocking stuffers for my son, and they were a hit on Christmas morning. He has not stopped playing with them until today when the toilet started running and I realized that I could use one of them to serve as a flapper valve replacement which it did nicely. The fact that my son loves Star Trek, he was not a happy camper with me. His only complaint was their red color and said they should come in the correct starship gray color, but I told him to stop being so entitled and appreciate what he has.

Perfect replacement
