The G8 ThinQ was the 2019 Flagship for LG. The G8x is the dual screen gaming phone update. Mostly the enhancements are in the OS, slightly better GFX, bigger screen, and more battery life, with obvious advantages if you get the 2nd screen. The sound is amazing, probably the best sounding Android Phone in price range. LG makes quality products and they tend to last well into your next upgraded device. I have some 12 year old LG that still work... They make excellent screens, which is 1/2 of your phone... The finger print reader isn't as good as some dedicated readers I have used, however, the fact it uses the screen is amazing and very convenient. So 4 of 5 stars on the reader only. ANDROID 10, 6GB RAM, Octa-Core Snapdragon... Amazon Certified Refurbished and like brand new.

You will not be able to get all system updates needed anytime soon unless you switch to ATT. The minute I switched, all of the updates went through. ATT reps who say that's not the case are clueless. Don't try any of the MVNO's either. You will not be able to use Hotspot with many of them or call forward either, I have tested this with multiple providers and I could not upgrade to Android 10 or switch on call forwarding. In some cases Hotspot works. With Cricket it won't for sure. I have access to ATT's first generation 5G connection . No bad so far. Overall really good phone when used with it's original provider - ATT.

Might be a good phone if you've never owned a cell phone before or never owned an android phone before but if you have owned or used a phone before, this phone is extremely annoying. You can't hide, turn off, or silence many notifications (such as notifications about mobile data being off or battery saver being on.) When you press the button in the top menu to activate a feature/function on the phone, you get another pop-up button telling you what button you just pressed and what that button does and you need to confirm the action for the feature/function to activate. Hit the Airplane Mode button when you are getting on a plane, and instead of turning on Airplane Mode, you get another pop-up telling you that you are turning on airplane mode and what airplane mode does. You have to press another button in that pop-up notification to get airplane mode to activate. Same with mobile data, battery saver, sync, and others. If you happen to turn off Google Play Services, because they are not needed for anything you do on the phone (I didn't buy it for gaming) then you get constant notifications from all the LG apps that you cannot disable, that also have no use being on the phone. I was hoping for less 3rd party, carrier, and manufacturer bloatware/malware/pre-installed apps than my previous SamSung but that's not really the case. The SamSung has over 300 apps that cannot be removed, this LG is sitting around 150+ useless apps that cannot be removed or disabled. If you need constant, annoying feedback and notifications from your phone, love having to do everything twice, you may enjoy this phone but if you want your phone to be and act like a phone, and not provide constant, useless notifications that can't be turned off, work when you want it to work, and do what you need it to do without a ton of extra effort, not having to repeat everything you do, then DO NOT buy this phone.

This is my current phone at the moment and I love it!!! The battery life for this phone is very good especially with the duel screen attachment. The sound quality of this phone is very great when playing music or movies from the phones speakers or by connecting headsets to the phone. The value of this phone was down more than half the original price when I purchased it which was very good and cost effective for me. I have not use the face recognition tech on the phone so I don't know, but the biometric scanner is cool on this phone and makes it convenient to sign-in to your apps nd the phone. Also the Duo Screen feature is sooooooo cool and I would say buy this phone with the duo screen attachment that is the feature that I really wanted on this phone and I'm about to multi-task and game on my phone. Love this phone; Great product sad that LG is not making phone no more but this one is one of the best and the first of it class.

Real nice phone but battery doesn't last !

El equipo está inmaculado, ni parece renewed, incluye cargador y cable genéricos, el equipo es muy fluido. Vino actualizado con Android 10. Funcionó con chip de Movistar y por el precio es mejor que cualquier gama media. Tardó 6 días en llegarme. Edit. Después de una semana de uso, la batería le dura todo el día, con uso exigente, tarda en cargarse casi dos horas desde cero. La cámara selfie es buenísima las traseras igual, el sensor de huellas no es de mis favoritos, pero habiendo tenido un Samsung galaxy a50 este es años luz mejor, trae algunas apps de ATT nada que interfieran en el desempeño del celular. En general es un excelente teléfono y por el precio mucho mejor.

Me recomendaron comprar reacondicionado, ya que me podía comprar un teléfono de gama alta de años pasados por una fracción de su precio original, al principio tenía mis dudas, pero ahora que lo tengo en mis manos puedo decir que es la mejor compra que he hecho. Lo revise de pies a cabeza y la verdad no le encontré ni un rayón, prácticamente está como nuevo, la pantalla es oled y no presenta ghosting, la bateria dura bastante, yo le he dado un uso pesado jugando un par de horas diarias o a veces un poco más con juegos bastante exigentes graficamente y me ha dado 8 horas de tiempo en pantalla, si no juegas seguro que te dura más , además que que corre como mantequilla cualquier app que le pongas. Solo viene con cargador y cable genéricos, pero son de carga rápida. Yo uso Telcel y no tengo problemas de cobertura, puedo hacer y recibir llamadas sin ningún problema. Es un gran teléfono, si lo quieres no dudes en comprarlo.

Excellent condition. Battery life is decent. In the range of 200-300CAD this is the best Android phone.

El equipo llegó a pocos días de la compra, llegó bien empaquetado y funcional, la verdad me sorprende la estética que tiene ya que se ve como nuevo, en la caja me llegó con la herramienta para extraer la SIM y cargador, el cargador es muy genérico y su velocidad no concuerda a la que soporta el dispositivo esa fue la única parte que no me gustó, por todo lo demas funciona de maravilla, no se calienta el dispositivo y para juegos va super bien, por el precio que estás pagando te llevas un equipo muy completo y mejor que un gama media, sin duda si lo recomiendo comprar
