Nice product
Received my Condor Rip-away EMT pouch today. I'll update my review as soon as I get to test it in the field, but here are a few things I have noticed right away:Interior: The elastic bands that secure the items are stretchy, well-sewn, and seem pretty tough. Also, some of the elastic straps have two straps on top of each other, which allows you to stack your items. The big elastics can fit a 6" Israeli bandage across the bottom, with room to spare. The 5 smaller elastics fit 2" and 4" gauze rolls really well, along with other misc. items. There are also 3 pockets: two on the back(one has a hook-and-loop closure), and one under the large elastic bands that fit the Israeli bandage. This allows for gauze pads, quikclots, etc to be neatly organized, a nice feature. The mesh pouch on the front panel is great for organizing loose items such as band-aids, moleskin, hand santizer, alcohol wipes, medical gloves, etc. Overall, the interior has a great design, and is so much better than my old kit, which just had everything jammed into it, making it so you had to dump the whole thing out to find one item.Exterior: Its big. Really big. It might be too big if you are considering carrying it on your belt, but it works fine on a backpack. Its not as heavy duty as some of the other brands out there. The material is common to most small Condor products (600D nylon, I believe). I don't think this is a minus, tho, because its much lighter than other comparable products, which is a huge plus, and its not as stiff as other pouches, which allows more flexibility when you over-stuff it with supplies. Its still a pretty durable material for what its used for. The zippers are not YKK, but are still fairly good for what they do. They are probably the weakest point on the whole pouch. The velco rip-away backing is TOUGH. It covers the entire back, and I don't foresee it ever wearing out. My biggest concern when buying this product was how long the hook-and-loop would last, and now that concern has been put to rest. Should the hook-and-loop ever wear out, the pouch is still secured by a fastex-type buckle, another big plus. The MOLLE webbing on the outside is double-stitched, as are the MOLLE straps on the attachment panel. The fastex-type buckle has an elastic retainer on it, so you can wrap up the loose webbing (similar to older-style LBE suspenders). There is a tough carry handle, double-stitched, and the panel has two D-rings, to attach a shoulder-strap. Overall, I rate it as a 4, because the zippers might end up being a problem later on. Other than that, I am extremely happy with my purchase.UPDATE- Its been almost a year later and my EMT pouch still looks and acts brand new. Zippers have held, velcro is still tacky, and nothing has ripped, stretched or been damaged. I carry my pouch everywhere- hunting, camping, bus/train/plane travel. It even went for a swim in Mexico, and its still in good shape. I highly recommend it as a high quality-to-price product. I'm considering buying another to leave attached to my travel backpack (Maxpedition Vulture-II) so I don't have to keep switching it back and forth between my travel and hunting/camping packs. Also, if you use it with a ruck or bag that has an interior mesh panel, the pouch can be directly attached to it, making the change-over easier.UPDATE #2- Two years later, and I still love my EMT pouch. Due to its size and weight, I've now attached it to my Vulture II ruck for traveling in cities/overseas. It has gotten so much use, but the zippers still work fine, the elastics are still stretchy, it has not ripped, and the hook and loop is still perfect. A fine product, highly recommended, I bought a second one to attach to my smitty built molle seat covers for my truck.

Great size, good quality, recommended.
Was looking for a larger med pouch for the side of my LBT2657. The size of this pouch is great. Also, the ability to tear it off, lay it down and roll it out is very convenient. The quality of materials is acceptable. The nylon pliable and good quality. The stitching is acceptable and looks like it'll hold up. The multicam color matches pretty well. I'm all for bargain/knockoff kit and this one fits the bill nicely.

Best Individual First Aid Pouch
Overall, this is a great item. It will fit quite a lot of supplies with ample room left, depending on the extent of your kit. It could be used for first aid, a survival kit, tool organizer, or for any organizing needs you require. Whatever you use ut for, it will certainly surprise you with how much you will be able to fit.It folds out into 3 parts. The first section has several pockets and elastic instrument holders. It also has a velcro strap above the top section for securing larger items. The second section is similar, but the elastic sections in it are more suitable for larger items such as an ace bandage or a folding knife. It also fits an Israeli trama bandage nicely. The third section is a zippered compartment that works very well for holding the medicines in my first aid kit securely. The construction seems to be reugged enought. Other companies like Maxpedition, Spec ops Brand, and 5.11 may have superior quality, but this brand is a great value and has a better design for this type of pouch than the other premier brands. it is ideal for attaching to the outside of molle compatable backpacks with the ability to be detached by simply ripping it off from its velcro patch. It also has a large strap with a buckle that is used to make it for compact and secure items more efficiently. I paired my Condor RipAway with a 5.11 6X6 medical pouch and this strap would reach all the way around both pouches while each are maxed out as far as supplies. I simply used the molle straps and attached it and made a comprehensive first aid kit. This setup is highly recommended. Unlike the 5.11 6X6, the condor does not have YKK zippers, but it is not an issue to me. They seem like they are holding up fine. The nylon used seems like a 500D or 420D. This makes it more lightweight than the 1000D used by Maxpediton and the other high-end brands but not as strong (but beleive me, it is strong enough).Overall, this pouch is by far the best in its class, regardless of the brands. The design definitely is effecient and works very well for many types of needs. I highly recommend this product, especially for a first aid kit.

Nice big IFAK pouch, for all the essentials and for other purposes.
I quite like Condor kit. They've had a few ups and downs, but for the most part their stuff works well, is well designed, is well built and fills the intended role very well.Keeping in mind this is one of the cheaper "EMT" pouches on the market, and that it aims to fill a role without any of the gimmicky frills that certain other designs have... I think Condor have really delivered on this.I'm surprised to see some reviewers claim it's too small to get more than a couple items of kit in, while others complain that it's too big to carry... From my perspective, it fits very well on a small rucksack/slingpack or on the side of a chest rig/plate vest. It's perhaps a little large for just plain belt kit, unless you're still using PLCE/ALICE webbing, but can still work if needs be - It's about the size of an old '58 Pattern waterbottle pouch. The D-rings and PALS mean you could also hook on a shoulder strap or similar and have several other carry options. As for capacity - I have a large Israeli bandage, an even larger Blast Bandage, a large SJA ambulance dressing, CAT tourniquet, SWAT tourniquet, Fox chest seal, large Burnshield dressing, large WoundClot, foil blanket, 2 large (30ml) saline pods, shears, tweezers, scalpel and blades, NPA airway, decompression needle kit, plus all the usual assortment of burns gels (4), face shields (3), gloves (4), sterile wipes (10), gauzes and dressings, triangualr bandages (2), amalgamating compression wrap, plasters (strips and pre-sized), safety pins, mipore tape, some basic meds, and so on, along with four large Cyalume lightsticks of various colours. Despite all this, there's still room for a bit more kit, and that's without using any of the external mounting options.Inside the pouch, the pockets, elastics, dummy loops and strap-downs give several options for stuffing with kit, so you're best off trying different things to see what works best for how you like yours. I really like the large flop-out zipped pouch, as a place to dump all the small 'boo-boo kit' type items, but still access them without having to unpack all the larger kit.On the outside, the Velcro™ strip along the top is pretty well sized, and you get three rows of PALS for extra kit, along with a dual-function Velcro™ strap that works to either quickly shut the pouch for a moment instead of using the zip, or to hold a CAT-sized tourniquet on the outside of the pouch. There's a similar strap inside the pouch, and either/both can also be used as grab-tabs for ripping open the pouch if you're in a hurry. The back panel is well covered with Velcro™ and the over-strap secures tightly, cinching down as much as you like and even keeping the loose end tidied away with an elastic cuff. The PALS on the back side are perhaps a litle less substantial than the average, yet they work very well even on less-than-ideal platforms, holding as securely as MOLLE usually is.I don't know if it's meant to be a small pouch to supplement a large EMT backpack or something, but it will certainly fit a complete personal trauma kit and all the parts for a personal first aid kit, that a person could go out for a day hiking or on the town and competently deal with most medical emergencies they might expect to find.Of course this isn't restricted to just medical kit, and the storage options apply just as readily to tools, crafting components, or anything else that you keep together as a kit.Overall a very good bit of kit, definitely worth the money and very impressive in how well it does the job!!

Overall a spectacular purchase. Invaluable piece of kit.
I just received this tip away pouch today. To be fine with I want to say this it holds very securely to the Condor Medium Assault Pack that I put it on. Just building a new bag right now and was sort of thinking it was a bit bigger in my mind by the dimensions. Nevertheless, besides the IBD’s and minor surgical tools kit to put my tools into, everything fit nicely and still have room for the few things I’m adding. With the smaller size than expected it leaves room for me to attach an external tourniquet pouch to make a bit more room inside. The construction is solid. Gotta play around slightly to get it packed nice and even. (tourniquet is huge part of this problem but will be resolved with an external pouch) but once you do it sits great on your pack. The Velcro is solid. One thing is I wish the strap/handle on the top wasn’t in such a big loop because I could see it possibly catching and tearing off if you’re carrying your pack in the bush hunting or anything, but will update after finding out first hand. Will say that this Velcro is solid enough that unless tearing through the bush on foot that if it did snag, you would know.Overall I would say value:quality would be 9:10, mainly because this bag cost $56 and I got my entire main pack for $130. And I did consider the fact that it’s got all the heavy duty Velcro for the tear away and all. Just feel like compared to some of their other products it’s a little on the pricier side.An invaluable bit of kit anyway you look at it though. I’d rather spend the few extra dollars on something I know is high quality build than end up leaving it hanging in a tree because I saved a few bucks.Would definitely suggest, especially for someone matching it with a Condor pack.

Klare Empfehlung

Adequate for civilian and light professional use. Not military.
Standard airsoft quality construction. Great for non combat usage. Nice layout of elastics. Nice mesh pocket for small items. It’s a little bit of a confused design with regards to closures, but can still be accessed quickly. Would certainly trust this with my medical supplies in a civilian capacity.
