Have used these for years. Yes they smell but they do the job quickly. Just put them a little further from where you hang out.

Got them out early in our barn, catching a ton of flies with a noticeable difference in the fly population, cows less stressed. Will see how it goes as it gets hotter out.

Fly Traps for Cattle
I’m not exactly sure how these work, but they catch a lot of flies. You don’t want to leave them up too long with dead flies because of the smell.

If you have animals you need this
We use these along with fly predators and if you keep up on them it significantly lowers to fly population. We have 5 horses, donkeys, alpacas, goats, chickens and flies can be a huge pest. We always have these on hand. These will stink after a while but if you keep up on them and rotate it’s worth it.

I Quit using Red Tops (Fly's be Gone)
I have been using Red Tops (Fly's be Gone) for over 15 years. Go through 8 or 10 each year. They worked great, but these work the same and are much cheaper. They don't hold as much as the Red Tops but I can get 2 or 3 of these for the same price. Make sure you get the "Big Bag" size, they last me around a month.

These are the best thing since sliced bread-aside from the odor but it catches flies like CRAZY :)
We love these at home: back yard, patio, near the kids swingset & play house. We love these at the farm near the shop. We love these at the lake home: on the deck near the entryway's. FOR USE OUTSIDE ONLY. They work SO incredibly well. Make sure you hang them away from main sitting areas or food areas as the odor they omit is a little funky and then it really gets sour when flies are laying dead in there. Hands down would purchase again in the spring!!!!! VERY pleased customer. We love the big bag version as the little bags just don't hold as much.
