No Brainer!!!!
This scope, the whole SS SWFA line, is simply the best scope for this price point you can get, and in my estimation, it ain't even close. Great build quality, bright clear crisp glass, excellent tracking, tremendous support through SWFA. This 16x is perfect for woodchuck hunting. I love fixed power scopes!!!

Counterfeit
Possibly? I've owned multiple swfas and the quality of this one was lacking for sure. Buy directly from swfa. Their prices are the exact same. The eye relief on this one was so bad the scope is barely usable in any practical sense. They aren't known for having good eye relief but that was bad. And the chasis dimensions don't match any of my others with regards to length.

Great tracking and reticle, a little foggy
Turrets track great. I got my 100 yard zero in three shots. They made it with mil reticle and turrets instead of mil reticle and MOA turrets like is seen on many scopes, so it is much easier to make adjustments. The reticle has very thin lines, which makes it nice to get precise shots. I had a three shot same hole group with my 308 as well as other half MOA groups. I like not having to worry about zoom. The only downside was the clarity. It is a little "foggy" but am still able to make out small targets at 300 yards. I did a side-by-side comparison with my brother-in-law's Leupold VX Freedom 3-9 scope, and his was much clearer. This scope is still worth the money though.

Would buy again
Really high quality glass for the money. Turrets are mechanically accurate and have a good feel. Zero stop shims are available aftermarket in a snipershide thread. I choose this instead of a 6-24 PST FFP because despite the lack of variable power, the clarity (IMO) is so much better. These scopes are awesome stop gaps while you wait to save for some tier one glass.

Poor clarity
Finding point of view through eye piece difficult & could not focus field of view. It would be difficult to quickly acquire a target. After the disappointment of this product I would hesitate trying any other SWFA scope products. Sorry, you should have looked through the scope yourself prior to sending it to a customer.

16x
You have to have a perfect cheek weld to see through this scope if you move your head a fraction of a inch the sight picture turns white. The glass looks like pond water. I can't speak for the 10,12 or 20 power but save your money and don't buy the 16x.

SWFA’s marketing plan is as brilliant as their scopes
SWFA’s marketing plan is as brilliant as their scopes. Take out the wholesaler, the retailer and all the middlemen that add needless markup to a product, retail it yourself and pass the savings onto the customer. The result is a quality piece of glass that is priced significantly less than other scopes that offer nothing more, and many times less, than SWFA . The glass is clear, tracking is spot on, turrets operate in a business-like manner and the tube is built for punishment. Being a fixed power scope FFP is a non-issue and there are less internal parts to worry about. What’s not to like? Highly recommend for anyone needing or wanting a quality fixed power rifle scope.

SWFA Scopes - Most Bang for Your BUX!!!!!!
My 2nd SWFA Scope (previously purchased a 12X fixed power one). Installed this one on my Savage Model 10 SR-FCP in .223 caliber. I had previously shot a 3/4" group with this rifle and my 12X SWFA Scope at 100 yards. With this 16X one, I fired a 3-round group which measured 9/16" (slightly over 1/2") at that same distance. That was with Factory-new Black Hills match ammo in .223 loading 77-grain bullets, and using a bipod (not a machine rest). I have been shooting for a long time and had never been able to fire a sub-1 inch group at 100 yards. The combination of the Savage rifle + the SWFA scopes is a winner for me. You can see the quality of the SWFA scope as soon as you remove it from the box. You will not be disappointed if you go with this brand.
