It's okay no instructions

The parts seem good. I was able to fix the drifting analog stick in my left Switch controller, but there weren't instructions, and the YouTube they suggest you look up doesn't give too many pointers on how to do what they're describing. When it comes to removing the battery it is NOWHERE near as easy as they make it seem. The sharp tweezers they provided just shredded the tiny plastic piece that holds the battery wires.I was able to get it working for about 2 minutes, but only when it was connected to the Switch. Now it won't work at all.The pieces provided seem sturdy, makes me wish I could actually make use of them. If you REALLY know what you're doing, I can imagine this is a good purchase. I only wish it came with proper instructions, the tweezers weren't so sharp, and that the triangular screwdriver was magnetic to help with reassembly.But if this is your first time repairing electronics, this is a very risky purchase. Buyer beware.P.S. I did like that it came with a hand written note from the seller.

The kit comes with (almost) everything you need and provides you with some handy tools just to have around. I replaced an old, extremely faulty L-Joycon. Took me about an hour because I'm not especially good at these kinds of things but the controller works like a dream now! The kit comes with a card that directs you to look up how to repair a Joycon on youtube. The video I found was simple, clear, step-by-step, but I wish the vendor had included what youtube video or channel to search specifically. The video I found called for a .6 tri-wing screwdriver which unfortunately was not included in the kit, but I made it work with the tools provided.After putting the controller back together and testing it, I immediately bought 2 more repair kits. I can finally fix up the graveyard of Joycons I've accrued over the years instead of just endlessly buying new ones! The product is very cheaply priced for all the tools you get, hell of a deal. If I can figure it out, anyone can..

I should've looked more closely at the description but I was looking for a repair kit that came with new joy con shells as well. This one does not but I just kind of assume it based on my search and the picture provided. It should all work fine provided you don't need a shell replacement

This is a pretty good little kit. I bought it to replace one of my joy sticks that was drifting. A new set of joycons are about $80 so I figured trying to replace it myself was worth a shot. TLDR: I fixed the joystick; worth the purchase.2 minor complaints:1: I ended up stripping one of the screws because I didn’t know which screwdriver to use. This kit comes with 4 different ones. Now that I’ve learned this lesson, I’ll never do it again but it would have helped to have a little more instruction here.2: I was excited about the little plastic coverings for the joy sticks. However, when I put it on, it limits the range of motion. I have to push really hard in some directions to get it to work. Had to take them off to play. Disappointed I can’t use them.I was able to fix my main problem which was the drifting joystick. So overall, would buy again.

This was WAY better than trying to clean the joycon myself. I broke the exact part that this kit has for replacement so this was exactly what I needed. Watch a YouTube video for quick instructions on how to take the controller apart and put it back together. It’s actually not that hard if you’re just replacing the joystick piece! This kit has all the supplies you need and some extra screws and covers for the joysticks.Also, it shipped in two days. I searched every store in my city and multiple sites online and not a one had a replacement Joycon in any cooler that could get here before January. I ordered this the night of the 22nd and it got here the morning of the 24th! I’m not sure what happened to reviews that said theirs came in broken, but mine was in excellent condition with a nice thank you card, and I fixed up my controller in about 20 minutes after I opened it. So glad to get back to Animal Crossing in time for Toy Day! I even have a spare joystick in case the right control breaks or starts drifting or my brother needs a replacement : )

This kit came with all the tools plastic pry tools and extra screws the installation is straightforward didn't have to recalibrate replacement joystick saved 40$ doing this myself and couldn't ask for more with this product

Repair shop quoted me 40 dollars and up to 10 days to repair just the left joy con( left joy con no longer clicked and suffered major drift). This came in 1 day( go prime) with a handritten thank you note in the kit(heartwarming) in 20 min I had replaced not just the left joystick but right as well (was just starting to drift)been using my switch daily again for about 2 weeks and my joycons both respond like new again with 0 drift issues

Clairement pas la même qualité que les originaux. Mais ca fait le travail, pour le prix...S'installe facilement, toutefois prenez garde lorsque vous reserrez les vis. J'ai remarqué que le Joystick coincait très légerement lorsque les vis étaient trop serrées. Link pointait toujours vers la gauche... À peine relaché la pression sur une vis, et tout fonctionne très bien.Reste à voir la durabilité. Pour le moment, ca va.

Everything shown is everything you get. The tools provided make it that much easier to install. If this is your first time installing, it may be a little tricky but once you do one, you'll do the second in half the time. I replaced both joycon's in less than an hour.To top it off, we got a very nice hand written thank you note from seller. Will definitely purchase again if my other 2 controllers decide to give me a hard time!

My 10 year old is a little rough with his switch when he is in the zone, and was devastated when a joystick fell off after learning how much a new controller would be. My husband was able to repair the controller quickly and easily with parts to spare, I can’t personally speak for the ease of the repair but he certainly made it look easy! Really quick postage too.
