Great value really!
I am a long time player. I own a couple 4,000 guitars…the guild is not on the same level but far better than any thing I’ve picked under 1,000 over the years. It looks great and has a great sound. I play out often and wanted something that sounded good but something that I didn’t mine getting some wear and tear. I put a nice LR Baggs Element, and a professional setup to get action dial in right. Likely the best great looking and sounding guitar inexpensive guitar I’ve ever had…so far. Lol.

Seems like a beginner guitar.
The nut, bridge and pins are all plastic. When you decide to replace them you will find that the nut is 44mm rather than 43mm. Good luck finding that size premade in bone without searching around. The tuners mechanisms are coarse and rough. Precise tuning is almost impossible. I was expecting something higher quality. At least it looks good though.

A lot of guitar at a great price!
This little guitar is fantastic and plays and sounds wonderful. I'm very pleased with my purchase. The OM-120 plays and sounds like a guitar that's twice the price. Mine came with a bone nut and saddle, but the bridge pegs are plastic. It came pretty well set up out of the box, but I did adjust the truss rod a bit to my own specifications. The gig bag/case it comes with is pretty rugged and very well made. It has a nice, balanced tone and is very responsive, even when I play with finger picks. I mainly play ragtime on mine, but all in all, it's a great guitar for a variety of styles.

Bright and Balanced Sound. Feels great!
I did a lot of research on mahogany guitars around $500. After trying out the Taylor GS Mini Mahogany and a few others, I landed on this one. I tried to find it in stores but all of the Guild dealers in the Denver area didn't have them and didn't expect to anytime soon. I came across one guitar reviewer on YouTube who "has a thing" for mahogany guitars and really loved this guitar. That video--which I watched like 50 times--along with a few happy OM-120 owners on a guitar forum got me to take the plunge and order it before playing it in person.I liked the size and brightness of the sound compared to the smaller M-120. My only complaint is there were some slight adjustments that needed to be done to fix a subtle buzzing on one of the strings. I brought it into a local shop that is a Guild dealer and they adjusted the neck and tightened a part as well and it was much better. It was so quick they did it for free. The shop says that happens with some guitars that are purchased online and haven't been looked at in awhile. This is also my first guitar that wasn't in the $100 price range and I am really happy I chose Guild's OM-120.

Really lovely instrument
I really love the warm sound of this instrument. I tried the D-120 and the OM-120 and found the OM shape to be so much more comfortable to play, plus I felt like I didn’t lose much of the bass between models so strumming sounds nice, too. I like how the mids shine through on this model as well much more than the dreadnought.

Quite truly worth double what they’re charging
I’ve been looking for the “perfect’ all mahogany guitar for awhile.I finally found it the OM-120.Tried the two mahogany Martins:000-15 (sounded great but the 1-11/16" nut is too narrow for me)00- 15SM (Strangely subdued sound..too quiet)Tried the Guild M-120 (body too small, too quiet)This guitar kicks serious ass, sounds noticeably crisper and cleaner than either mahogany Martin (AND is 1/2 the price), and looks so, so beautiful. My Rosewood Yamaha LS-16 just went back in the case, maybe forever.
