So fun just wish they grew bigger

3 of the 4 were the same dinosaur. Should have been 4 different ones. Even my 3 yr old nephew new they were wrong.

These are a great buy if you are a store owner and want to resell. They come in individual packages with an individual tag on each. Each colored egg has a different dinosaur to coordinate with the color. Expect for there to be a lot of mess left over after it dissolves in the water though. That stuff can't go down the drain!

These are nice except super small.

I bought these for the son of a friend who was having a baby shower, so that he would not feel left out. I failed to read the age limit, which is 10 and up, and my friend's son is 7 and apparently has no patience. I explained to him that he would need to let his father or mother help him with these eggs after he got home. He had them all cracked open and the tiny little dinosaurs out before we knew what had happened! It's anybody's guess if he will "grow" them in water (he was trying to put them in water at the baby shower), but he seemed to have fun anyway. So they are a neat little thing but probably better for 10 and up as it states. The shells appear to be some sort of card board/paper mache, and the dino toys inside are about an inch, inch and a half when not filled out with water, so not safe for very small children at all.

Bought these for my nephews for Easter, but gave them to them early as a little surprise after school. After almost 24 hours in water, nothing had happened except the dye came off the eggs (the red/pink stained our plastic bowl, fyi). The boys, of course, were disappointed and so we cracked the eggs. Even though we got 4 eggs, different colors, the dinosaurs in 3 of the eggs were exactly the same. The "egg" product is something like hard cardboard and although once we cracked the egg, the "egg" broke into a million pieces, I have no idea how any of it would've ever disintegrated in water. We put the dinosaurs in new water and waited another almost 2 days; they grew just a little bit, not as expected, but it wasn't the size that was the problem, it was the look! The "painting" on the dinos was faded and patchworky at best, leaving parts of each dino unpainted. But even worse, from the "growing" process, the dinos were covered in uneven bumps, looking like they were infected or something. Needless to say, the boys were disappointed and I was annoyed....until we decided to see if we could tear them apart (before throwing them away).

These hatch out cute little dinosaur figures only downside is a toddlers lack of patience waiting for them to hatch.
