I have been using this for a while and while I haven't had any tests, I feel a lot better using it. I usually take about three drops a day, and I also give it to my children who stay in the house a lot. One bottle last for a very long time between the three of us and a couple it with vitamin k2 drops for absorption. If your vitamin d levels aren't extremely low I think you're just supposed to use about one drop but I've been using three drops consistently for months. I love that it is not synthetic because I have bought other brands before and when I looked them up they were made of synthetic products. It doesn't really have a taste which is a good thing. I will definitely be buying this again.

This company clearly cares & does things right. I was looking for liquid D3 that had a good ingredient list, that would comply with my kid’s medically restricted diet (the Specific Carbohydrate Diet for IBD.) This was all that I hoped for, and the seller went above & beyond to make sure everything arrived okay & we were happy with the product. Other people on the Specific Carbohydrate Diet, had mentioned Metagenics (a different brand) as having a good ingredient list, but I was seeing people were receiving bottles with expiration dates only months after receiving Metagenics bottles. I even contacted the Metagenics seller and the response wasn’t encouraging. Luckily, this Sacred Eats brand popped up in my search, and I am so happy I found such a great alternative! The ingredients couldn’t be better. They went above and beyond, with an expiration date years away, and great customer service. It arrived quickly, in perfect condition, and with an email to check that everything arrived as expected, that we were happy with the product, and with a few pointers about storage and use. In two months time, my kid’s vitamin D labs will be drawn again (we were told this is important when taking amounts over 1-2,000 iu/day; my kid was prescribed 7,000 iu per day until their currently very low levels are up to healthy range, and it’s important to monitor every two months at such a high dose, because people’s bodies respond differently to different doses of vit D supplements), and we’ll see how their body took to the supplement! I’ll try to remember to update this review. 🙂 But for now, it is comforting to know we are using a product from a company that seems to be doing everything right, and instills confidence. UPDATE: The two months labs show this product works well, as intended! My kid’s lab results for vit D levels went from 8ng/mL two months ago, to 55ng/mL now two months later after taking 7,000 iu (7 drops) daily for the two months. Normal range for lab results is 30-100ng/mL, with over 100ng/mL in the potentially toxic range. NOTE that the 7,000 iu/day is much higher than normal dosage, was prescribed by the doctor only because of the very low numbers in my kid’s blood work, and must be accompanied by frequent lab work to monitor levels to make sure levels don’t become toxic! We will now continue to monitor through bloodwork, to find the right maintenance dosage for my kid. This product works! It’s easy for my kid to take. Great ingredient list. Just make sure you monitor the vit D levels with lab work, if taking amounts over the normal recommended dosage. I’ll also note, the doctor told us it is okay to take daily, or add up the daily dosage amount and take that weekly. Or if you miss a day, to make that up and take both day’s amounts the next day. They said it is stored in the body, so it doesn’t need to be taken every day. We just find it easiest if it is daily routine. Of course, please consult and follow the advice of your own doctor! There are so many personal variables that doctors help us take into account. Another thing to note: The amount gone from the bottle (about 1/3) seems right for the number of drops we’ve used, and how many drops are said to be in the bottle (900). If anything, they’ve given us extra. If we stuck at the super high dosage, it would last us a little longer than 4 months total, but it’s clear after two months that we don’t need that, and will be lowering the dose to a much smaller maintenance dosage, so it should last considerably longer. Second UPDATE June 2023: If anyone with IBD is using the Specific Carbohydrate Diet & concerned about compliance of this product to the Specific Carbohydrate Diet’s stringent requirements, you may find the following comforting: My kid reached complete remission including mucosal healing shown by biopsies, of their moderate Crohn’s, without medication (I say this to indicate that the strict diet seems to have done the work in this case, but I do not discourage medication if needed as IBD is serious), solely on the Specific Carbohydrate Diet (though a year was of very limited ingredients, about 12, kept close to liquid texture, but now eating a much more expanded amount of foods & textures on the Specific Carbohydrate Diet, including fresh whole raw fruits and vegetables and even some dried fruits now like dried figs, once complete remission was reached), and they have been taking this supplement, at various dosages to get & then maintain their vit D levels in good range, the entire time. So at least in my kid’s case, this vitamin supplement didn’t prevent, (and may have helped), the efforts to reach & maintain remission on the Specific Carbohydrate Diet. This was all done under the supervision of highly skilled and respected pediatric gastroenterologists at a respected Children’s Hospital, known for their work with pediatric IBD patients & for research done with dietary treatments. I strongly encourage anyone with IBD to work with and seek the help of good medical professionals when possible! The Specific Carbohydrate Diet Association has a list of doctors with experience with the Specific Carbohydrate Diet, if that is a route you are interested in investigating. Please do not take any of this review as medical advice, and please seek out qualified medical help! The whole rest of my family also now uses this supplement to keep our vit D levels in healthy range as well. I’m truly grateful to those who make this product available, keeping both the product & customer service excellent quality.

I am very happy with this product. It tastes good, it’s organic, and it is potent. The price is also very affordable for how many doses of vitamin D per bottle. I am glad the brand I was using ran out of stock because I got to try this out and I prefer this brand to the other. I also love that they used glass bottles for the packaging. I will be buying this again as long as it stays available.

I absolutely love this Vitamin D3 oral drops. It has an amazing orange flavor and an easy to use dropper. The oil actually works. My levels were are 9! Yes, 9. Very low. Nothing was bringing it up and doctors were not helpful. I finally did my own research and found this product. My levels are now up to 44. Thank goodness. The only CON about this product is the company. I've reached out several times without response.

I did receive my order the very next day, and was in perfect condition! Thank you for the note with helpful information. I did read all about the Vit D3 before making the purchase. I had to reread the amount of IU’s per drop several times, as I couldn’t believe I was reading it correctly! I absolutely love the dropper, as I had reservations when I opened it and looked at it. I thought for certain the drops would just pour out, nope, sure didn’t! Nice and slow, 1 drop at a time! I have a horrible time with supplements because of the condition of my stomach. I cannot take the D3 gels, so I thought that I would try opening them and adding the liquid to my food. I was able to tolerate that. So I thought I’d research liquid drops, as puncturing a gel, well, it’s just a real pain. So far I am so happy, you have no idea!!! The seller reached out to me, making sure that I received my product in a timely fashion, and that it was in good condition with no leaks. How’s that for customer service? My daughter isn’t a fan of the taste but is taking it. Takes some getting used to as it’s not a normal dropper.

I bought this D3 a couple times & loved it. I forget why, but I then bought another brand & on my next blood test for D3, it had gone WAY DOWN from the previous test. The other brand was obviously not working. I stopped the other brand & re-purchased this brand & waited 3 months & was recently retested for D3 & my number went right back up, highest # so far. This product really works. I won't use any other brand again. It's also so convenient to take what ever dose you choose to take & others in your house can take the same or less. (I take 5,000IUs =5 drops, but a child takes 1,000IUs =1 drop) It can't get any easier to get your dose of D3 than this product. And knowing through blood tests that it really works, what else can you say. You won't be disappointed, & the proof will be on your blood tests. Highly recommended. These Vitamin D drops are truly amazing! They’re the only ones that actually helped increase my Vitamin D levels. Highly effective! No taste, super easy to take.
