What color is this iodine supposed to be? Mine is clear and I had never seen clear iodine. Why is it clear?

Hello Mirana. Yes the Iodine is supposed to be clear with a very light amber hue. To clarify, “nascent” Iodine defines the presence of monoatomic/atomic Iodine. Which is in essence Iodine in its negative ionically charged state – or its most energetic state in which it is ready to actively bind and ionically bond within the body. It can be both clear and reddish. The reddish forms different forms of polyiodides of I-3, I-5 or I-7 blended with vegetable glycerin or alcohol. We use ionic Iodine suspended in water.

Is this derived from potassium iodide?

NO. it is actual mineral deep earth sourced iodine.

Works Very Good @

Works Great! I use it everyday, it helps regulate my body temp. Guys don't get hot flashes, but it felt like it. Since using this product I no longer have that problem! I take 6 drops a day under my tongue. It also balances your thyroid and fills it so no bad radiation can get in my thyroid. Now a days that's a good idea just in case. I Highly Recommend!

No glycerin

No glycerin! I used to purchase a different brand and suddenly they decided to glycerin to mask the slight bitterness of iodine. It is not that bad at all and I rather wash it down with some water.

Glycerin free

This is the only brand of Iodine that I could find after researching that is not in a base of glycerin, which is a toxin. It must be popular as it is now out of stock. I will purchase more of this product.

The best nutritional iodine there is, in my opinon.

Quite a nice change from my usual Logol's Iodine. It is crystal clear, and has absolutely no negative taste at all. Better yet, nascent iodine is more readily absorbed by the human body than the other form of iodine.

Packaging issues

The product itself is good. But the packaging leaves a lot to be desired. The shrink wrap is hard to get off and when I did get it off the lid was not screwed on so a lot of the product spilled
