Airplane Pilots - You Need To Look at This Sunscreen - No Eye Irritation and Looks Good!
This product has SOLVED a problem I have had for years as a pilot and flight instructor. All the chemical sunscreens, especially oxybenzone, can cause sudden, painful, and dangerous eye reactions. Those chemicals don't even have to be applied around the eye - anywhere on the face and they can outgas or run, and get under sunglasses or helmet visors. My husband and I, both instructors, had several instances of almost incapacitating eye pain from sunscreen (fortunately we were flying together each time). So our solution was unfortunately to not wear any facial sunscreen while flying and especially instructing for years. In the high desert. Many friends in the same situation, and some have already had skin cancers removed. UV rays are even stronger at higher altitudes. We also go to a lot of airshows. We don't wear sunscreen flying there, but do slather it on during the event. I usually have several painful attacks every year on the ground at airshows, no matter how careful I try to be with sunscreen around the eyes. Even some "mineral" brands add "oxy" chemicals to the formula and will sometimes really get to your eyes.I have recently started using anti-aging products (glycolic, retinol) at night so I have to wear sunscreen every day. Have tried several mineral brands but this one actually WORKS. The tint is perfect (I am caucasian, but not pale), blends in, feels soft on the skin, and is definitely not "ghostly". Also has a much higher zinc oxide content and SPF than many brands. For the women: like any mineral product, it is a little thick. Rubbing it in takes a little time (but not as long as other high-SPF brands). I happened to see a TV ad for a (much more expensive) tinted mineral CC cream that they put on with a foundation brush. Tried this technique and it worked wonderfully! Can spread it evenly and quickly with the brush, even right up under and around eyes. Looks as good as a tinted moisturizer or CC cream for everyday wear, blush goes on top just fine. Most zinc oxide is a little drying, but I find this to be OK - I wear it over a Vit C serum and it feels matte and soft.I went flying with this sunscreen a few days ago. Put it everywhere around eyes. PROBLEM SOLVED! 100+ degrees in the desert, no running, no eye irritation, no sunburn. Sorry for the long review, but it is hard to describe how intractable the sunscreen problem can be for pilots. I have heard fighter pilots talking about this problem - no one wants cancer, but pilots really can't afford to be distracted by eye reactions. I hope you consider marketing to pilots (AOPA, Miramar and other airshows, pilot magazines and websites?).A suggestion - I am content slathering on the white, runny Australian stuff on legs while swimming or gardening etc. (Lands End SPF swim tees always for arms and back.) But, if you would make a similar type "backyard" body sunscreen with your special formulation that has less additives than other brands, perhaps less SPF but thinner, that would be great too. I am going to order your other current products and of course some more tinted sunscreen. Please feel free to contact me. Have been reading about the regulatory sunscreen issues coming down next year. Glad to see a company like yours taking the lead to improve the mineral products. I suspect there will be more advancements, including tints for darker skin tones, coming in the future.

Best tinted sunscreen in US so far
Best looking mineral sunscreen I found so far (considering I tried pretty much everything out there in US and EU). On my 6th tube.Pros:+ looks incredibly good, the only complaint is the slight shine. If you're into glass skin / dewy look; this will do; I try to go with completely natural look. Easily melds into my skin tone; 0 white cast. But if you're going to reapply every 2 hours while out in the sun all day; it will definitely look like a heavy BB cream (after 3rd ~ 4rd reapplication). To me, that's perfectly fine considering other sunscreens other make me look like a mime or make me too dark for my skin tone (light skinned Southern European here)+definitely does not rub off easily compared to other water resistant sunscreens.+it doesn't smell bad or doesn't have fragrance; I haven't experienced any irritation.+I didn't get sunburned at all, and I live in the SoCal+Doesn't burn or sting around the eyesCons:- Hard to spread at first, takes little bit patience but compared to others it's a lot more matte than big majority of mineral sunscreens-Careful when applying around the eyes because it will stick to your eyelashes. Gently rubbing on the eyes takes care of 80% of the time.-Just like every other tinted sunscreen, make sure this does not touch light clothing otherwise it will stain them.-Must use an oil cleanser first to take this off if you're using a gentle cleanser. Don't expect Cerave Hydrating cleanser or anything similar to take this off with a simple face wash. It is very water resistant. (I guess that's also a plus)TLDR:Don't change a thing; I will keep buying this forever. I really love it!

Good product
Pros: Good ingredients, long lasting, performs well with sweat and water, and evens out my skin tone. Cons: smells kind of like mothballs and mud which doesn't fade after hours of wearing, formula is way too thick to get a consistent coat (can be remedied by mixing with lotion but does reduce its lifespan)
