As advertised, Polarized clip on Night Vision glasses do a great job.
I am getting older and my vision is not what it used to be and at night even with my prescription glasses there are times when I have trouble seeing because of (headlight glare, streetlight glare, etc. all wreak havoc on my vision in evenings and night time). I read some say not to use yellow night driving lenses and some said they work, I bought these as they are very light yellow and polarized (I tested them and they are indeed Polarized). Because they are very light yellow they do not cut down on vision at night, in fact I used these tonight and I was able to see things off the sides of the roads better than I have in the past with just my prescription glasses. I may not use these for city driving but these will be great on the highway at night looking out for deer, etc. running across the roads we have here. The only negative is that these clip on's are a bit smaller than my glasses and its the only size they make.

I was wrong
I bought two pair of these clip-ons. These for my night driving and a pair of Mirrored ones for daytime. Each came with a little card showing a fisherman. The deal is to put on the glasses and you will see a big fish being caught. This proves they're polarized. It worked fine with the mirrored pair but not with the yellow pair. I had reviewed that I found this to be a fault. I did some further checking though and found a different way of checking for polarization. This verified the glasses are, in fact, as advertised and are polarized. So I have revised my review as such. My advice then is not to rely so much on the test card for the yellow glasses, they may be too light for it to work. Turn them at a 60 degree angle and you'll see the glasses darken - not as much as the darker ones - but there is definitely a darkining to prove they're polarized. Sorry for my previous ignorance in reviewing.

Helped a little with night vision
I live on the coast where it rains a LOT. I drive at night or early morning and I can't see plus oncoming headlights just kill my eyes. These helped a little. I can't say it was a major, life altering difference, but enough of a difference that I'll use them again. They are lightweight. It's a little tough to get them clipped on to your glasses but they stay put and are lightweight. They flip up if needed. I'd say for the price, give them a try.

almost like rose tinted glasses...
I saw these in an add and checked here for something inexpensive to try out. My take - they're OK for night driving and I still regularly use them, but don't expect the response you see in the ads. I find that it cuts the glare a small amount, but it doesn't turn night into day or make the glare totally disappear. The yellow can't make it any brighter out (it can only lesson the light getting to your eyes).Where I really like these is actually when it's just rainy or dreary out. The polarization really helps and the yellow color actually makes it look sort of nice out. That actually changes my mood and I can see better (yeah, it sounds like looking at the world through rose tinted glassed, but hey, it makes a 25 minute drive more pleasant, so I'll use them).

Decent Night Glasses
My first "driving glasses"Once I got used to them making some situations seem brighter, I got to really appreciate the clarity enhancement. For those wonder, the view cannot actually be brighter - it just seems that way as your eyes adjust to the incoming light. Polarization effect turns glare to a darker yellow - but at least it's no longer glare. You can wear these at night - which is a common use for this type of glasses.

... and noted in passing that they claimed to be good with night driving vision
I purchased the Clip-on yellow filters for a shooting purpose and noted in passing that they claimed to be good with night driving vision. Not true, they are GREAT for my night driving vision. I am 77 and in the last five or so years I have only driven at night when forced by circumstance on the highway and to occasional meetings of clubs here in town. The clip-ons reduce the light of oncoming cars thereby making it possible to see the much dimmer light of other objects. I now feel much safer and less likely to be a danger to those not sporting headlights. I will submit the suggestion to all who read this: even if you do not have the problems I have, you will drive safer with these inexpensive filters, safer to you and safer others on the road.

Great for Fog and Snow
I haven't tried them at night yet, so I can't speak to that; but they are great in fog or snow. Where your regular yellow tinted sunglasses might be too dark, these are just right for those dim, foggy, snowy conditions where it is hard to see, and oncoming headlights blind you (or you can't even see them). These will reduce the glare and cause headlights to have a yellow tint that you can see through the rain, fog or snow.

Ok, but my husband loves his.
I cannot tell enough difference in night vision to justify wearing them consistently. My husband, on the other hand, was amazed at the improvement and puts his on for his very early dark morning commute. I suspect it has to do with your current glasses or vision. We both needed clip ons to go over our prescription glasses, and the clip ons, while looking pretty dorky, are actually very handy and seem well made. They hold securely and flip up smoothly. Even though I give a 3 star, my husband said he would give a 5 star if he was doing this review!
