If you want more from your extension cord than for it to be an extension cord, then this extension cord is NOT for you. They are very well built and their length is perfect for my specific need. The dark brown color looks great and much better than light brown or other color choices for these and other extension cords. The safety covers are a nice feature that look good on these cords, and it is good to have them just in case they are needed. A+!

I received the product on time. It is a little heavy duty which is a good thing. I had to trim a bit of the plug's flare at the plugin end to make it fit in my powerstrip.Worked how I like things to work, I took it out of the bag, saw I needed to safely modify the plug to fit, plugged it in and et viola I had power to my security camera again.

The extension cord works fine. It blends in with our Christmas tree, which is probably the same reason you are considering buying it.However, there is a Warning on the cardboard wrapped around the cord. It says, and I am not making this up: "This product contains chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm. Wash hands after handling the product."I suggest you consider whether you want to risk cancer or causing birth defects for a green cord. We personally will probably wear disposable rubber gloves while handling this product. And when we store it away with our artificial tree, we will definitely seal it inside a Hazmat bag. Or something.You're welcome.UPDATE:The cancer warning is because of California Proposition 65.I have now seen this California warning on other silly products. I therefore cannot take it too seriously.So you decide whether to heed the California warning or not.As for me, I boldly packed the cord away with our Christmas tree without the hazmat bag.

I liked the extra length and white color because I needed to go around a white door frame to move a TV onto the fireplace mantle where there is no outlet. I’m happy enough without spending a lot calling an electrician
