Would be great if it actually worked.
Maybe I got a broken one straight out of the box, but I ordered this with the Amazon recommended 3/4" 10' tube. I cut the tube in half and put one end down where it tries to suck the water out and connected it to my drill. I started the drill slowly and worked the speed up. Nothing....I checked the side and verified I had the correct end of the tube in the hole where I was trying to siphon water from. The device has arrows pointing in the direction of the water flow, so I knew it was correct. I tried again, nothing, no suction. Then I put the drill on the highest speed, still nothing.I figured this thing was probably broken from the start. It had four screws, so I opened it up and saw a rubber coated gear designed to create suction, but it looked a little chewed up because it had these black frillies hanging off the ends. It just did not look good, so I started to wonder "was I supposed to grease this rubber gear up myself? It came in just a box with no instructions. The box was in this Amazon plastic bag and when I opened the bag, the small box it was in was open and falling apart. I figured it was okay because this small device had no cosmetic damaged on the outside.I was so made I wasted my time buying this, I had to get my shop vac out to remove this dirty water out of the ground that was smelly, which is why I was wanting to avoid using my shop vac.

inlet/outlet sizes
This is a large-capacity pump, inlet and outlet are 3/4". Make sure your hoses are large enough.

Trash
This was such a piece of junk i tossed it in the trash and didn't even want to bother with the return process. First time i used it, the impellers from inside disintegrated. Don't waste your time or money on this product! Only one star because you cant go lower.

The reviews - warnings not heeded
I read the reviews and thought - "How bad could it be?" I am just going to use it once.It did not work, at all.Information:- the hose/tube that fits on this is 3/4"- There is an arrow on the pump that shows water direction; But - nothing that shows which way the pump should turn (using drill)- I tried different speeds and direction; ... it does not even suck anything into the hose (clear, see through)I will open it up one day, see if I can "fix" it. At this price it is like a Temu item - just through it away will be less hassle, effort and cost.

Why, why did I waste my money
I intended to return as I allowed my time to return expired. Not sure why this device is even called a pump... I don't think water circuledw through this device. I know that water was getting at least to the pump as it leaked through the bearings and soaked my DeWalt******Update****** I've changed to 3 stars because the Seller came through and did the right thing.

Junk pump
This thing does not really work very well and I threw it away. Not much suction. I can’t really imagine it to be very useful in any practical situation. Maybe it could possibly work in ideal setup but I do not have room in my tool storage for junk.
