The reviews - warnings not heeded
I read the reviews and thought - "How bad could it be?" I am just going to use it once.It did not work, at all.Information:- the hose/tube that fits on this is 3/4"- There is an arrow on the pump that shows water direction; But - nothing that shows which way the pump should turn (using drill)- I tried different speeds and direction; ... it does not even suck anything into the hose (clear, see through)I will open it up one day, see if I can "fix" it. At this price it is like a Temu item - just through it away will be less hassle, effort and cost.

Absolute JUNK
I am 70 years old. It has become very difficult for me to lift a 5-gallon can of diesel fuel high enough to refuel my compact tractor. I thought this would make it much easier to just pump the fuel from the can on the ground into the fuel tank of the tractor. This required the pump to lift the fuel less than 3 feet. When I attached the drill and started the pump, it wouldn't even lift the fuel above the neck of the fuel can. I was sure to have the pump turning in the right direction, varied the speed of the drill, and even tried to prime the pump. Nothing worked. It shouldn't really surprise me that a $5 pump wouldn't work, but you would think that it would at least lift the fuel out of the can. It's not even worth the hassle of wrapping it up and sending it back. Don't waste your time and money on this. Just go to Harbor Freight and buy one of their pumps that operates on one D-cell battery. I wish I could give this a minus rating.

Junk junk junk
Worked for about 60 seconds and blew the inside gasket. Now what leaks and spins out where the drill attaches. I thought maybe some of these reviews were not accurate and it was not as bad as we thought so we went ahead and bought it but literally did not last 60 seconds. Don’t waste your time on this like I did.

Extremely sensitive or extremely cheap.
After researching the dos and don’ts of drill pumps, I bought this… the cheapest available. It worked flawlessly half a dozen times over a few weeks, ~20 gallons per use, and then ceased to pump (it still turned over, but stopped pumping water). I wasn’t sure why. Did I drop it? Did I pass a foreign object through? Did I accidentally run the drill the wrong way?Declared it useless and took the whole thing apart. Every component looked in working order and the whole thing was clean as a whistle. I couldn’t find even minor signs of wear anywhere except at the countersunk holes for the main four screws on the “top piece”. Each one seemed to be set at a different height.Added a little vegetable oil, reassembled it, and it worked… for a little bit. Then it started spewing out all sides. I think I overtightened it. A few hours of fiddling and getting it to work intermittently was enough to give up.It’s made of an industrial plastic that seems to give out after a short while. No one should have to fiddle that much to get a little more run time.

Junk Transfer pump
This pump is junk. It has never worked since I bought it. I missed the window to return it or I would have sent back. It is so bad I did not rate it but had to per Amazon to submit a review.
