significantly more traction exiting as well as better feel on turn it
I've had my car awhile and hemmed and hawed about installing an ALK for quite some time. The changes to the amount of traction this provides are quite dramatic: significantly more traction exiting as well as better feel on turn it. It does what all of the hype says it does and really does make the car make better use of the available traction it has.Downsides: it does make clearance under the subframe less. Its unavoidable, but still. Easiest way to tell: you will lose as much as the largest spacer included for the rear of the subframe (about an inch or so).I opted for the comfort kit which has the softest urethane that Whiteline offers. Driving wise, no different to stock but you can definitely tell when hitting shorter, smaller impacts. It will give a quick thunk to the chassis where it used to be deadened by the OEM fluid filled bushing. It's a high performance part made of urethane. Kind of unavoidable. If I could have found the GT Spec kit which contains rubber, I would have gone that direction but I can deal with this.
