The Tape Measure That Doesn’t Lie (Even When I Beg It To)
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 out of 5 Stars – The Tape Measure That Doesn’t Lie (Even When I Beg It To)Let’s be honest: traditional tape measures are like exes—hard to read, full of mixed signals, and never quite accurate. But this little RENPHO Smart Tape Measure? Oh, she’s a keeper.I bought it thinking, “Okay, cool, it connects to an app. That’ll be nice once, then I’ll forget it exists.” WRONG. I use this thing all the time—for tracking muscle gain, occasional slimming victories, and even measuring my husband’s biceps when he flexes for no reason whatsoever. Still working perfectly today, and it’s basically become the therapist of my fitness journey: honest, helpful, and only mildly hurtful on bad days. What I love:✅ Syncs seamlessly with the RENPHO app. Graphs your measurements like you’re a stock on the rise (or holding, depending on how many tacos you’ve had this week).✅ Big, clear LCD screen. No more squinting at tiny lines and pretending I didn’t read 39 inches when it’s clearly 40.✅ Retractable lock feature = independence. I can wrap it around my waist without performing yoga poses or calling for backup.✅ Compact and light enough to live in my gym bag, right next to the hope and ambition.Yes, there will be times you wish it was broken when it shows the cold, hard truth… but it’s actually a great motivator. This tape doesn’t judge. It just tells you how it is—like a fitness friend with receipts and Bluetooth.Battery-powered honesty? Check.Still using it today? Absolutely.Has it helped me stay motivated? You bet your glutes it has.Highly recommend for anyone tracking gains, losses, or just trying to remember where their waistline used to be.

Great Tape measure
This tape measure allows me to perform the measurements, without asking my husband, and because you lock the end of it in place it is very accurate. Also I love that the results are sent to my phone, using their app.

Disappointed
This measuring tape is easy to use and transfers quickly to the app. Do for this product high marks. I give the company less than 5 stars. The company should be 3 stars for producing great products and then not finishing the job. They have several products that sync with their app and then it's ALL STOP! A proper application would use weight, heart rate/blood pressure measurements etc along with the data regarding height, weight, and age to accurately measure and report body mass, body fat and a much more accurate account of physical condition. There are several medically accepted formulas out there. Their application is a thumbs down for being weak. The application writer should easily be able to apply the formulas. Also they offer pairing with other apps like fitbit, Google fit and apple. Why? If they don't have a proper agreement with the other apps for data sharing, what's the point. I enter my food consumption carefully on fitbit. They don't actually talk to each other. Again, what is the point in saying you are sharing data if you are not. What is the point I. Saying you are a health and fitness company and application if you are not fully committed. For example: I am a 59 year old male. 5'8". I average around 185 lbs. By this company standards I am obese unless I ask the application to use a different algorithm wich still does not take all the actual data into account. I wear a 32" belt, the smallest adult size you can by and I work out hard weights, cardio, and core . No reason to give father time any help. I am far from the most fit person around, certainly not obese. If I had it to do again, I would not have made these purchases a d upgraded to a more accurate solution.

Not much more simple than a regular tape measure
Unfortunately, the mechanism is a little clunky. If you can reset it properly and hold the item in place with your thumb while measuring, you might get an accurate reating... might you might be better off just using a tape measure by itself. Not terribly user friendly. Accuracy depends on the presence (or lack of) operator error.I will give it three stars because it is possible to make it work, but it takes a lot of effort.
