Excellent
Excellent balance of flavour. I am typically not a fan of Earl Grey but really enjoy this blend. The packaging is so unique and beautiful, it makes for an excellent hostess gift.

Nice but way overpriced
I paid £24.28 for 100g. It tastes good, no question, but the price had me blinking more than the bergamot. I’ve literally just come back from Covent Garden where a very fancy French tea house, complete with polished floors, immaculate staff and rent that must be eye watering, sells their French Earl Grey for £14 per 100g. Their blend is stunning. This one is… nice. Pleasant. A solid cuppa. But when a luxury boutique in central London can beat it on both flavour and price, something feels a bit off. At this cost, I expected a tea that whispered poetry to the kettle. Instead, it quietly made a cup of tea and went about its day. Good tea. Not twenty four quid good.

Pricy
Ok but very pricy compared with some other quality Earl Grey teas. Looks pretty though!

Excellent tea, but too expensive to get routinely
Very nice. It's good tea, but you can get a kilo of the same stuff for £8. Very nice tin (which is what I bought it for) and it came with a little catalogue booklet, which I liked. I think I'll just refill the container (which was really nice) with the cheaper bulk stuff to save money, since it's the same thing. I think I will buy one or two other flavours over the next year, but it's too expensive to buy regularly. Probably was £3 of tea, £7 of packaging, £5 of shipping and £10 of branding.

I read all the reviews of TWG teas and chose to but this one. Because of the dear price, I expected I should have both strong smell and taste. Disappointed, it is too light when comes to the taste. I also let one of my colleagues who usually drinksT2 French Earl Grey tried it and she gave me the same feedback. For those who have the same preference like me, go T2 or elsewhere. Don’t waste your $40 here. By the way, the pattern and blue colour on the tin is not printed but a paster. Double disappointed.

I purchased this for my partner to go with his new Cpt. Picard tea cups, and SPECIFICALLY this blend because Jean Luc Picard is French (not English) --for those of you reading this and saying to yourselves, "Uh, France doesn't exist in the 24th century, blah, blah, blah," understand that I didn't want to spend the majority of this review explaining the history of the Star Trek universe so, please, forgive me. Anyway, I have tried a lot of Earl Grey blends, and I mean a LOT (I'd wager a guess that it's probably somewhere around 20+ different kinds), and I fell in LOVE with this as soon as that lid came off. PROS: Holy mother of tap dancing jesus, this stuff is INCREDIBLE. Strong bergarmot and cornflower fragrances, citrus aromatics. It's full bodied, and doesn't get dry if you let it steep for (what some might consider) waaaaay too long --I specifically use loose-leaf tea (I'm pretty I've learned how to taste paper over the years from all the tea bags and I couldn't stand it) and with my "Smart Tea Maker" from GROSCHE I can just leave the loose tea in the body of my tea maker until I'm done with it. What I mean is, by the time I've gotten to the last cup the tea has been sitting in water for at least 20 - 30 minutes. With most other Earl Grey teas I've had, this tends to make the tea feel dry in your mouth, sort of like a really dry red wine, but not with this! This is smooth, flavourful, warm, nostalgic even! I am a HUGE fan and will absolutely be purchasing this blend again, and I'm planning on trying some of TWGs other blends as well. CONS: It's friggin expensive!!! It was a Christmas present so it was worth it this time, but I don't think I can ever justify paying full-price on a regular basis for it.
