Outdoor Living Today Western Red Cedar Garden Chalet Storage Shed with 2 Shelves

I was somewhat daunted by the number of pieces involved in this shed. However, I followed the directions and it came together finally with a few minor adjustments due to mistakes I made. I stained it a dark brown ("russet" according to Behr paints) and it looks great. One mistake I made was to build it up against the rear of my house. Once in place I was unable to attach the rear trim pieces or paint the back. No way was I going to move it away from the wall after getting it leveled at the beginning of construction. But that was a minor problem. You will be very happy with this shed if you have a good drill and powered screw driver. I would buy it again.

Harder to assemble I did it by myself over two days about 6 hours total. Lower quality wood than I expected but it’s serving its purpose

Beautiful shed. Needs more shelves. Had to caulk the entire thing inside as it leaked at the first rain after caulking where the instructions said to caulk.

Extremely high quality--and the instructions were nearly flawless. The best home product I have ever purchased.I would prepare though for a long process. This took me about 12 hours to put together by myself--2 weekends. But, just enjoy it, drink a few beers and take your time. It is essential that you follow the instructions very carefully--if you do you will be VERY pleased.Tip: Split and lay the large cardboard boxes (it comes in two boxes) on the ground, and organize all the pieces together on the boxes. Label every piece--just write on it with a pencil--or you will get confused as to what piece goes where deep into the project. This is a huge jigsaw puzzle-- if you concentrate you will enjoy--if not you'll fail. Your choice.

Can't say yet if it is any good, I only received 1 out of 3 boxes. I have a floor, a roof, and one wall, I think. There are barcode stickers from three different shippers on the box, so I'm not even sure who to call about it.

Love this little shed. We put it on our enclosed back porch rather than outside. It works great for our purpose. When we moved, I downsized our garden, so got rid of a lot of tools. This holds what I kept. Could always use more room, but the size keeps me “downsized”! Good quality. The wood is beautiful and smells good. Looks adorable on the back porch! Went together smoothly for my husband and me, but did take several hours. I would definitely recommend it.

This kit makes building a shed easier. However, if you're a halfway-decent carpenter, then you could design a stronger shed with supplies from your local hardware store for less money. Primarily, this kit just offers convenience.

Unfortunately 1 star is too many but that's the lowest I could rate it. I would rate it a negative 1 star if could....We tried to put this shed together over the last weekend......man, was that frustrating! First of all, the instructions were very poorly written, so we made a few mistakes along the way which we had to correct adding a couple of hours. Second, the wood is of very poor quality: it is very rough, not all like the cedar garden furniture we have, and very thin, resulting in cracked and split pieces of wood. After putting it together, the shed was not very stable at all, and there were cracks and seams all over so that wind and rain can get in. The day after, the wind got in, the door blew open (because it did not fit well together) and tore the hinges off, which were held in place by the tiniest of screws in the very thin wood.....SO BUYER BEWARE. DO NOT BUY!
