We found this Kayak to be a great product, and very sturdy. We ordered it for my 7-year old son, and it was perfect. It is very well-made, and stable, even in the slightly choppy waters of our Connecticut beaches. It would be perfect for a pond or lake as well. It fits in our Honda pilot just fine, and is easy to carry. Overall, it is a very good craft for the price. I like that it has a serial number badge permanently attached as well, in case it ever gets lost. The paddle it comes with is "right-sized" for youth as well.

I bought this for my 7 year old daughter and she absolutely loves it. It's easy for her to maneuver and get in/out, etc. She weighs about 50lbs right now and it's extremely stable and tracks very well for her. She can even bring our 40lb lab on the kayak with her. The weight limit is 130 lbs so I'm even able to tool around in it, although it's more just for fun and being silly rather than any distance paddling as it doesn't track well at my weight. I can fit the kayak in the back of my Subaru outback with half the back seat down, leaving plenty of room for kiddo, other gear and dogs. It's light-weight and easy for me to carry from car to launch. We're asked often about it by people at the lake interested in getting one for their own kiddos. There were some complications with the delivery as somehow the carrier lost it, but the seller was responsive and rectified the situation as quickly as possible once I brought it to their attention.

Love this! It's the perfect size and weight for my son to start with. It even holds me (mom) which is a big bonus! Seems like super quality and so glad it came with a paddle. The seller wasn't great, a lot of confusion with the tracking and shipping. But at the end of the day it's a great product.

This is a really nice youth kayak. Very sturdy for any lake or flatwater situation. Seems to be very stable even in small waves. The included paddle also looks to be decent quality for leisurely paddling, and was a definite plus when initially looking at options and prices. We added a Stolquist pfd and the total still came to less than $130. I would recommend this package for any young paddler under 100# (it's rated up to 130#). PS - added an aftermarket seat for $20. Good deal.

I got this for my six year old and he loves it! We’ve already created wonderful memories while kayaking and I can’t wait to make more out in the water! Plus this has helped him tune into his leadership skills as we explore ponds I know that he can lead the way. He’ll be able to use this for years to come too!

My 5-year old granddaughter loves this kayak. She was able to figure out the paddling and slide off to swim. Right now her father ties a rope to it so he can tow her when needed, but she will use it for many years. On land, it also is a fantasy train for her and her dolls. Best birthday present so far.

My boys love it. Stable and light. It fits well on the trailer hitch luggage rack for the suburban. It would be nice to have tie downs installed or tie down points on the empty space on the back. There is a place for a pack or cargo, but no way to strap it down. I will be installing some stainless steel footman loops on the back in the future.

We bought this for my 6 year old and are very impressed-It is a great color, sturdy and strong but easy for him to manage on his own. Well worth it!!
