Most helpful invention ever
This makes making kefir possible for me! I only have the use of one of my hands and straining kefir the old way is just not possible for me. I love this thing, the convenience and innovation more than justifies the price. It does get loaded with milk fat chunks that you should clean out every few uses. I scooped out the contents of the cage into a small bowl and poured milk over them and mixed them around vigorously. I cleaned the cage and scooped them back in there. The fat globs were half the volume of stuff that was in the cage, so you definitely have to clean it out. It’s easy and if I can do it in a wheelchair with one arm…

very helpful
It makes things a lot easier. The only issue I had is that the gridwork is too small. So when it makes kefir it gets clogged up. I clipped out some of the mesh to make bigger holes and it works great

Just What I Needed
After struggling to find kefir grains in my kefir milk, I decided to buy a container to hold the grains within the milk. I like to make kefir milk, remove the grains and then let the kefir milk ferment longer, until the curds and whey separate, and then strain out the whey. This container made the grain removal a cinch. This container had the best price I could find and is a quality product.

This is a kefir game changer!
I Love this product! It has simplified the kefir process for me tremendously! Without this basket, separating the grains from the kefir was messy and time consuming. I was never sure if I was scraping the grains through the seive with the kefir. Now I just lift the basket out of the jar, place it into another jar and pour fresh milk over it. My kefir tastes much better than before, it's not so tangy. The basket is filling up with new grains and I'm concerned about the string staying clean. I've purchased four of these little beauties so that I can have two jars going at a time then switch them out with the clean/fresh ones. I just transfer the grains to the clean baskets once a week. A little pricey, but well worth it .

Awesome idea and well executed!
OMGAHHHHHHHH this is such a cool shark tank invention. I love it! Straining kefir grains can be so tedious and this little invention is perfect. And, what sweet people, they even sent me free dried kefir grains in a bag with a cute hand written smiley face drawn on it. Absolutely precious!

Works but pricey
Works as intended and keeps most grains in the basket. Still need to strain when pouring into a glass because there are tiny grains floating in the milk outside of the basket.

Great innovation
Don't know how I did without this. A great little kefir grain holder that makes it not a chore to change out and start a new batch.
