How deep is the sandbox?

I don’t know exactly because it is at my granddaughters house but it is 10 to 12 inches. It is a really nice sandbox.

Does it come with a lid?

It comes with a snap on tarp cover but my cover started to rip off after a rain storm...also it is not a very sturdy sandbox at all and I doubt it will last a year.
