As stated, if you remember the Detour bars from like 2001 to 2003 before they got sued over something, these will bring back memories. No, they're not as good as the ones from back then, but I doubt that they lie on the labels like back then either. This flavor is great, if you're accustomed to protein bars then you know how bad they can get, like say MetRx 100 bars. Easier to eat chalk. These new Detours though? Good, not gritty or sawdusty, just good. I'll buy them again, and I've been buying protein bars for the past 30 years. Detour still has it!

This purchase for me turned out to be better than expected. The protein bars are massive but they definitely fill you up. They are also super sweet and delicious, so if you ever get cravings for a twix or snickers but want a more healthy option, here it is. I think that if there was one thing I could change about this product, it would be the size. The bars are just so large, they are definitely a meal replacement bar and cannot be eaten as a snack unless you portion it off. Besides that, my only other complaint is that my girlfriend and I (who are both lactose intolerant) noticed that it was causing some serious stomach issues for us. Besides these factors, a great protein bar to fill you up and help you get your protein intake for the day.

I replaced bfast and lunch with these 1 year ago now , and stopped eating bread. Same routine PT 5-6 days a week 1.5-2hrs I did not change any other routine. Never been more ripped and inshape in my life. Feel better faster stronger then I did 20 years ago when I was in boot camp , purchase box of these weekly now , and best part they are tasty

Usually protein bars with 30g+ protein are super dense and chewy (quest bars for example, horrible) - these are soft, textural, and have a great flavor for a protein bar. For an active body builder, the calories aren’t too much, you get healthy fats, and frickin 32g protein. Protein products are usually sold at a premium being a specific sort of product so my only critique would be eventually lowering the price point a little. One day I’d hope to see these everywhere in the world instead of Taco Bell’s and bulls*** like that

These bars taste great and use quality ingredients. PROBLEM: nearly every single box (I get 6 boxes/month) contains bars weighing5-20 grams less than the stated 90 gram serving. Several have also been 1-2 bars short counted. Zero action from the company when I’ve contacted them. Be better

I love these. The ingredients aren't too insane. The flavor is real nice and the texture is soft and a little chewy. They're a great snack or meal replacement. They actually give me energy and don't zap it away like some other brands with too much oil or whatever else nonsense in their ingredients.Unfortunately these seem to sell out fast or something because they're weirdly hard to find. I hope they aren't discontinuing it.

I love hacing these around for a quick meal. They taste great with little to no aftertaste. They don't taste like a candy bar by any means but these are for a diet I am assuming. I can not find this flavor in any store only on Amazon. The best by far power/nutrition bar for the money. One bar completly fills me up for lunch or dinner with no need to snack after. I love them!

I have no idea what flavor the manufacturer is going for though I can say with confidence the image did not match what my taste buds detected. Bars are extremely sweet for no reason. The cookie bits are non detectable. Tastes like a bar with an identity crisis. Go with the Better-Rx.

I bought these some time ago. I needed some extra protein throughout the day. To be honest, Ive tried quite a few different protein bars, I typed in on google something like "best tasting protein bars". I found a top 10 list and surprisingly people had rated this very high. I read reviews and thought why not.The bars are very large which i thought was great but that was it. First bite was ok but had this terrible after taste and then after that every other was a nightmare to eat. I dont have much to say about this product as it was nothing like i read on previous reviews on other websites. Unfortunately the same time i bought these i bought another box of Detour bars, a blue one, chocolate caramel. They were not as bad but still pretty bad.My conclusion is, Dont buy Detour bars as they probably taste awful.Before anyone comments and says "well its protein, thats what you have to expect" well no it isnt. Try Maximuscle Cyclone, or Promax bars. Yes they are dearer but taste amazing and are soft and easy to eat.Thank you for your time.

These are good for a quick high protein snack, they don't taste bad but I don't exactly look forward to them either.

This product is very tasty. My only grip is that i am not familiar with the brand and relyed on product information from the actual bar.The bar ingrdients where very interesting and i was led to believe that if the information on the bar was in any way reflected in the taste , i was on a winner.Definatley worth a chew if you are in need of a little sporting sweetness.enjoy
