I have used this bbt reader before, I need a new one. It's a brilliant little tool for tracking cycles and having confirmation of ovulation.It's backlit which is great when using first thing, it's a soft beep so doesn't disturb any others sleeping.Another great feature is the last temperature is saved when it's turned on again. So if you don't catch it when it firsts gives the reading, you can relook when it's more convenient

I’m happy with this for the price I paid. The only downside for me is that it does take a couple of minutes for the reading of the temperature (which is fine) but it doesn’t make any noise whilst measuring (beeps once temp is complete) so there’s been times I’ve wondered if it’s working - it was, but a countdown to it being complete would be helpful.

I liked this product for its accuracy to display the BBT. The product is simple & easy to use with the Premom app. I did not go for a Smart one with Bluetooth as recording manually is just plainly easy.It displays the last temperature and also beeps exactly in 90 seconds. The tip is flexible and does not hurt your mouth ! It is not a cheap make and hopefully looking for this to last longer. Bonus !!! It comes with an extra battery too so that is quite handy

I'm not using this for ovulation, but I do need an reliable thermometer to take accurate reading 8-12 times throughout the day - unfortunately this is NOT the thermometer to achieve that!I thought that the large screen, backlight, advertised speedy readings & supposed 2 decimal places of accuracy would be ideal for my purposes - but although the screen is large, and the light flashes on when the reading is complete, showing 2 decimal places is no help if they're the completely wrong numbers! It also takes it 2-3 minutes to give the reading! My other thermometer takes only 30 seconds - 1 minute & is also actually accurate.This is useless! I tested it first by taking repeated readings one after the other & found that the results varied by: 0.5-0.8-1.0 and up to 2.0 degrees Celsius. Since there seem to be a lot of good reviews I determined that I must have been unlucky & got a faulty one - so I sent for another. Then I tested the two together, alongside my accurate old thermometer, in a glass of hot (36-38.5C) tap water, and the results were even worse! The first time the two Digital Basal Thermometers with Backlight... varied by 0.3C from each other & were under my accurate old thermometer by 0.4-0.6. I then repeated this 6 times more, & again they varied significantly from each other, & never even agreed with their own previous readings. :=(They were always under my old accurate thermometer's reading - that would have been acceptable if they'd been consistent, as it's the difference between the readings (every 1-2 hours) that's important here.This Digital Basal Thermometer with Backlight is completely unfit for purpose. I tried to contact the Seller to ask for comment, or to try and get an accurate replacement, but the Amazon automated messaging service bot just sent me off to return the item, which is what I'm having to do.On a positive note, it was easy to swap to Celsius from Fahrenheit following the instructions provided by the Seller when I asked, but that's no use when it's completely inaccurate anyway.

I’m not confident it’s reliable, as my temperature fluctuates, if I take a reading and take another straight after it often changes. Also once said I had a temp of 35 degrees which can’t have been correct.

So the pros...This is easy to read. It's simple and that makes it easier to remember to do every morning.The cons...Having it not be Bluetooth enabled, you have to manually put the temp in each day, which isn't that annoying but there should be a setting to have that step omitted.Having more information about if you don't get up at the exact time each day and how that effects things would be helpful.I've been using it close to 2 months now and so far, no real spikes shown and def no baby yet. I didn't expect it to work instantly, but more info outside of just it being a place to put in data points would be helpful.

I was using the Natural Cycles thermometer (the basic one) and found it was creating a lot of spikes in my graph. With this one my graph is so much better and now I can easily see the switch to higher temperatures after ovulation. Yes, it can be super slow at measuring but I don’t mind it as it’s way more accurate than what I was using before and the light is super useful.
