Get it while it's hot
The tool does what it says. Hot air comes out and can be used on heat shrink to cover spliced wires. I wouldn't use it to blow dry your hair, but you could if you were in a pinch.

Works Great, Does What it should, Wish it came with a smaller nozzle so that I could use it to focus heat on a smaller area like mother boards and so on

Fabulous!! Bought this for my husband and he was pleasantly surprised. It came with a really nice assortment of attachments. He's been using it for 3 months now and hasn't had a single problem or complaint. Definitely worth the price - in fact, it's a bargain at this price!

Inexpensive way to get some real heat
I have occasional need for something that gets hotter than a hair dryer, and I was surprised at how affordable this was. I wouldn’t expect it to hold up very long under heavy use, but I’ve used it several times and it’s great, so who knows. A lot of times an inexpensive alternative is perfectly suitable for a DIYer.

Two times used ... so far so good.
I've used it twice without issue. Since I may only use a heat gun once a year or so, I didn't want to spend a lot. This one seems to fit the need.Yes, it runs very hot - and it remains very hot after use. Stand it on the back (not hot) end when finished and don't let anything touch the hot end for a while.
