The Republic of Tea - Get Burning - Herb Tea for Metabolism, 36 Tea Bags

I love the flavor of the tea. It’s a very good quality tea. It’s a bit pricey though.

I have nothing bad to say about these, I am obsessed with them. The flavor is perfect even without a sweetener and the quality is outstanding.

I bought this "Get Burning" Green Rooibos tea mainly because I love spicy teas with ginger, cinnamon, and hot pepper. Other than a green chai tea that I use (also by Republic of Tea), it usually seems like most spicy teas are black teas. While I also enjoy black tea, I drink green tea more often for the health benefits and lower caffeine. This Get Burning tea didn't disappoint. It has a definite kick to it and you can taste the mingled flavors of the ginger and cinnamon along with the mild bite of the chili and black pepper. It has a natural sweetness which I enjoy since I rarely add sweeteners to my tea. It also contains holy basil to increase energy and the body’s resistance to stress and Cordyceps which is a traditional medicinal fungus used by Chinese athletes to boost energy and endurance. The fact that it's marketed as a tea that potentially sparks your metabolism and energy was interesting, but I had my doubts about that. Maybe it does, maybe it doesn't -- really hard for me to tell since my energy level is already pretty high. The spices included (especially peppers) are often recommended to stimulate metabolism, but whether or not the 2-3 cups a day that I drink are making a difference for me? Hard to say. But I do enjoy the taste and the fact that it's good for me. While many green teas have some caffeine, this particular one does not. When I feel like I need/want a bit of caffeine with it, I just steep a bag of Republic of Tea's Daily Green tea in with the Get Burning bag.

I drink this tea during the day for a boost of energy and to rev up my metabolism. Love the taste and the cost is great for what you get in return.

I love Republic of Tea! It is flavorful and gives me that little oomph in the morning and throughout the day. This company is my go to for tea!

Well balanced flavor! The spice from the chili isn't enough to make it feel spicy or to ruin the delicate flavors it's blended with. Excellent tea. Will buy again.

Doesn't work

I absolutely love this tea. It has a spiciness that tastes great. I have ordered a couple of times already because I like it so much. I have no idea if it works on my metabolism, but It is a great flavor and addition to my day. I only drink water and tea and this one is in my top five!
