Great Product....but Before You Buy You Should Know...
First, this is a great product. Good price and heavily built. I set my tub in mortar, so I needed to let it leave it undisturbed for two days while the mortar set. I filled the tub with water to hold in into the mortar. During the two days, the water level only dropped about 1 inch using this to stop the flow. Overall I am very pleased with the product. Now the thing you need to know, the description on the product can be a bit confusing. My tub has a height difference of 15.5 inches between the overflow and the drain. From the description on this product "For 14" and 16" tubs" I thought it would fit. It does not. The height refers to overall tub height, so it was too small. You can look at the Moen spec sheet on their website [...]. This drain adjusts from 12-14.5 inches, center of overflow to center of tee to drain. I had to return the product and order the bigger version, Moen 90480 (also sold on Amazon, by Shower Doors Direct) which adjusts from 12-22.5 inches. The bigger one fit my tub perfectly. I wish I had understood what the fit information meant before I ordered, because it delayed a bathroom remodel by a few days waiting on the correct part.

Wow - great quality
Am remodeling a rental condo and didn't want to spend a ton on the new bath drain - but I also wanted the drain to be worry free because we're putting in expensive tile and I don't want to rip that up later because of a cheapo PVC bath drain. This is a really nice product for the money. I love the trip lever (no drain plug to deal with). Extremely well made - precision fit stopper sleeve, heavy brass and bronze construction - everything about this is really nice. All of the other fixtures in the bathrooms are Kohler, but this was $40 cheaper than Kohler's counterpart and I'm so happy I didn't go that route. Would highly recommend to friends and family.

Quality brass drain assembly
The quality seems to be exactly the same as the one it replaced that was over 40 years old! The assembly was fairly easy to install after trimming to the length of the old one. We'll see how it holds up but so far so good.

Great Quality...Poor Instructions
Moen has very good quality products and I am not writing with concerns about product quality, but they could improve greatly on the instructions that come with the product. Instructions included are a single page of illustrations with a limited amount of text written in 3 languages. The instructions show using a container of some sealant (appears to be plumbers putty). I had good quality plumbers putty and used a good amount but developed a leak a couple of days after installation at the tub drain leaking into my basement. I called the Moen help line and they admitted that use of a good quality bathroom silicone would be the very best for the application, but plumbers putty could be used. I received "help" from a young woman that I believe has had not experience with plumbing what so ever and the suggestion was of little value. She suggested to fill the tub with some water, sprinkle some pepper on the water and check to see where it migrated to so they would have a better idea of where it was leaking to so they could assist me with the problem when I called back with more details. Clearly she did not understand the problem I was trying to resolve. Took it all back apart, cleaned it up, and used Bath silicone and it appears to have resolved the problem.
