Fellowes L80 A4 Home Laminator, 80 Micron, Including 25 Free Laminating Pouches

This Laminator is amazing! It doesn't take long to load and it does a very good Job. The only problem is the sleeves came folded which was annoying because they should not be folded but its very good and doesn't take up much room so its just prefect!!

Great product and works fine

A very simple laminator when it comes down to it.This has:-- A heating element on the inside.-- An on/off switch on the side.-- A small internal thermostat to decide when the device is up to temperature.-- A manual lever on the back to open the rollers (to clear a jam if you feed the sheets in wonky)-- An automatic shutoff, if the device has gone unused for a whileThere is also a guide on the feed area to help you line up the paper as you insert it.The box contained 10 A4 laminating sheets (which is as advertised) however the product description shows a picture of a starter pack with what looks like 50 sheets (5 sizes, 10 sheets each). The sheets were folded in the box and therefore arrived bent; therefore the final laminated sheet was also curved, although the most extreme fold in the sheets was ironed out in the process.The machine is quicker than I am used to with my old machine but does get much hotter to the touch (on the top of the plastic case) so I would advise not covering it or allowing children or pets near it. There is also quite a pungent smell during operation, but that may ease after a few uses. The machine happily dealt with 5 sheets, one after another, with consistent results.Evidently - very much fit for purpose. Simple, but hopefully less to go wrong!

Does the job perfectly

I was a bit sceptical at first. I thought something at this price point surely won't last. Well here I am over a year later and it's still amazing. I am a homeschool mum and believe me, I laminate everything. I use it multiple times a week and it has never failed me. It even turns itself off if you forget to. I highly recommend it.

I bought this product because the description said it takes pouches from 150 microns but after a short while I found it only takes 80 microns per side (160 microns) hence I am limited to buying their own products. I have not used it intensely. I find even with their expensive pouches there is a lot of dog earing and "waves", I have just tried to laminate an important photo and it got jammed inside. There is a release lever but you need to pull it out, I cannot do that because my photo is completely inside the machine. I could cry with anger and frustration.

Worked well for a couple of months but has now gobbled up something I was trying to laminate and we can't get it out so it's now unusable.No idea how to get a replacement as there's no option to contact the seller on the order.
