This is a great product! I have cancer, seasonal allergies, bad nausea and a hint of health issues. I wanted a product like this to help clean the air some as I spend a lot of time at home. The blue light germ killing feature is a wonderful extra!

The filter for the germ guardian Does an amazing job. And it is so easy to replace, I did not dust the top shelf on my office desk for 4 weeks because there was virtually NO dust on it for 4 weeks. I LOVE this air cleaner! I only have one unit which I use in my office, It only works in one room at a time. I have allergies and a cat. GermGUARDIAN helped to modify my sneezing and wet nose. In fact I recommended it to a close friend who also has allergies and asthma. I haven't heard from her so I don't know if she ordered the machine.

Works as expected and more. Traps dust wonderfully and is easy to clean. I rub mine outside on some hedges and the dust and lint comes right off and the filter does not tear. The filters that came with my unit were very thin and flimsy. I would recommend this product.

When our air cleaner tells us to clean the filter. We change the units filter and vacuum excess dust out of air cleaner. The quality is great on this air cleaner, very happy with it so far. The white noise is very soothing in this cleaner during the night.

Seems to be ok for in between filter changes

Does its job well, I notice a difference in air quality almost immediately after turning it on in my basement bed room. I keep on the 3 setting and only use the highest if I need to clean the room quickly. I'm not huge on having fan noises while I sleep, I've grown used to it but don't need it. The 3 setting isn't loud at all and doesn't bother me the way my exes annoyingly loud fan would. Buy replacement filters on here and vacuum the charcoal filter once a month to maintain. I replaced the charcoal when I replaced the Hepa. I think the light to replace the Hepa auto activates with time. I probably could of waited another couple months to switch, it didn't appear dirty.

Works great and doesn't cost a fortune.

Can't tell if it is genuine. Says it is...will buy direct next time to see. If it is, then its fine. But like other reviews, it is thinner than what came with unit and does not have Velcro on charcoal liner, like original. But it does fit and will stick OK, because the main cartridge filter has Velcro. But it does not stick as well as it did when both sides had Velcro. (The charcoal and the cartridge filter). Its about half as thick. So they have either changed their quality or when you buy the unit with all filters in it, you get a better quality charcoal liner. Either way, it does the trick. Update: I called and spoke directly with guardian about this product and their hepa filters sold on Amazon, and they are genuine. They told me they have changed their design. They said they are more effective, even though they are thinner. The hepa filters are also cardboard instead of hard plastic, but rest assured they are genuine and work well, just not the same material as when you buy unit. She told me whether you purchase direct or through amazon, you will get the newer thinner design. This should help answer our questions of quality and know it is a germguardian product. And its cheaper through amazon. :) I did tell her that their were lots of questions and complaints on new quality and they should change back! Lol ...but the product works great, no worries for buyers in my opinion.

perfect fit my machine

Easy to install, velcro installation. Works ok, not sure if it is as thick and dense as the original filter that came with unit. The cutting doesn't seem to be as straight and clean as the old filter that I removed that came with the original machine. Won't know if it traps as much dust and lasts as long as original filter unless I am able to provide an update in 6 months. The original filter seems to be able to be washed and re-usable but I didn't try.

I have ordered these on more than one occasion. These ones are the genuine originals that came with the machine. When compared to a different brand of the same size, these original ones are much thinner than the other brand(Filter buy). The "off brand" that I just mentioned are twice as dense, ensuring that the super expensive HEPA filter doesn't get clogged up before its time. The "off brand" ones are not so thick that the machine's fan has to over work. Choose what you will.

It’s nice to see these separate from the complete filter.
