The larger hook has an outside width of 0.55 mm (that is, it will fit any needle that has an inner eye length of ≥ 0.55 mm). The smaller hook has an outside width of 0.25 mm. The smaller hook didn't fit my smallest needles. However, it does fit most of my needles, and these should be more durable than the wire-type needle threaders, so I will use these whenever possible and save the less durable ones for only the situations where must use them.

Really love these. Great tool for any crafter who works with yarn or thread. Easy to use especially for anyone who hates thread through a tiny eye needle, even yarn so it doesn’t split. I’m a teacher in these arts, bought these for my class and my students love them. I should add because the price is so reasonable- I gift one to each of my students. Great tool to add one in your sewing, crochet, or/and knitting project/kits.

These stainless steel needle threaders are surprisingly sturdy and work so much better than the flimsy wire-style ones. They slide through large-eye needles easily and make threading simple, even with thicker yarn or embroidery floss. I really like that the set comes with so many pieces—plenty to last a long time or keep in different sewing kits. The little clear storage box is also a nice touch because it keeps everything organized and easy to grab when needed. For the price, the value is great, and they definitely make threading faster and less frustrating. Overall, a solid buy if you do any kind of sewing, embroidery, or yarn work!

Great needle threader for small and large sewing needles. Great to have extras ! Nice to be able to share at a quilting bee or sewing group.

These stamped, non-magnetic metal needle threaders are small, thin and easy to use. They have hooks on each end for different thread, yarn and needle sizes. You slip the eye of your needle over the hook where it hangs, you slip your yarn or thread onto the hook then slide your needle over the hook and the yarn or thread slips easily into the eye of the needle all in a matter of seconds. No more fussing with creasing the yarn and still having trouble getting it thru’ the needle’s eye. So far, I have only used this tiny tool for threading yarn into tapestry needles for weaving the ends through my crochet projects. I am very impressed with how easy it is to use, even my arthritic hands can hold this little threader without any pain. The price was reasonable for so many of these threaders that one could easily share a few with friends who also struggle when trying to thread needles.

I do a lot of cross stitching and I did 3 large cross stitching projects (one 12×16 and two 16×20) on the same threader. I thought they'd be a bit better than the little ones you get in sewing kits but I used 1 for the 3 large project where I would have probably used 50-60 or more of the small ones from sewing kits. Absolutely 1000% recommend. I didnt think that they last as long ad I did so I bought 3 of them, I've been giving them away to people who do cross stitching, embroidery, plastic canvas, sewing etc. I'll never go through the 60 I've got now. Highly highly highly recommend
