Mr. Pen Grip Tape - Non Slip Tape for Skateboards, Longboards & Scooters

This Product arrived in fantastic shape and the appearance of the package was nicely wrapped. The texture of the board and grip was surprisingly strong given the fact that I found this brand after scrolling for hours. The functionality is very good for keeping your balance and has several color choices online but I went with solid black and it compliments the paint job I did very well.

great grip tape for beginners, exceptional price, sticks perfectly and allows for fixes if placed wrong and adjusted quickly, cuts great, doesn't have that smell that some lower grade tapes have. The grip texture is very strong, to the point that you could wear crocs and have good grip still. It looks great on the board and is a total grand slam as far as buying grip tape online. I will definitely be buying from here again if I get a new board.

It is not clear it is sheer. I love how it looks as I wanted a beach style board and this looks like sand to me. I did the lay out, cut to length using gorilla tape to anchor it in place. I removed the backing and applied the taped down end first. I love the product and adored the mustache sticker that came with. So much fun!

not as adhesive as I would have liked

I bought this because i got this sudden feel of missing a board, i pulled out an old one i had in the attic and wanted to relive that feeling from 25 years ago. I looked for something i could get today and found this grip tape, ordered it and recieved it same day, great grip. Couldnt wait to put it one, reassemble my birdhouse board. It went on like i remembered them. Such a nostalgic feeling. Highly recommended people. Easy cutting. Thank you

Buy this. It's very good quality grip tape, goes on easily and looks great. The package shows up with a fun little mustache sticker gift and information on how to contact the company if you have any issues or questions. Very well done on the customer service front. A few install tips - first, make sure to prep the surface and get a good sharp exacto to cut off the excess; any tabs or tears on the edges will look bad and could impact the bond. It also helps to have a rubber roller tool to press it down. Next, make sure to use gloves. The top of the grip surface is very abrasive and will cause micro cuts on your hands. This is by design and works great on shoes and as a grip, but if you try to install and smooth out the tape with bare hands you'll have given yourself a nice dermabrasion treatment.

My rescue dog came to us deathly afraid of people touching his feet. We have spent a massive amount of time desensitizing, drugging, various groomers, vets, his favorite foods, hanging him in a hammock, etc. He has gotten only slightly better where we can snip one or two nails if we go really fast - but then he is on high alert for two weeks or so afterwards. Poor buddy. Enter scratch boards. I made my own using an old Ikea cutting board and this- Mr. Pen's Skateboard Grip Tape. The 10 x 36 roll works perfectly, I can get about 3 replacement sheets out of it. My rescue not only tolerates this but actually thinks it's a really fun way to eat his dinner. I am still searching for a good higher grit adhesive for buffing his nails as this 80 grit roll is great at taking length off but leaves his nails sharp.

the tape feels like its just a bit grippier then it should be for a trick deck and its not my favorite (cut up my shoe a lot faster too). it was also annoying to apply since the back paper kept ripping easily. Probably wont use again

High quality grip tape, easy to use and good sticking. Comes in a pretty long roll, enough for a skateboard plus extra. Would recommend.

It was easy to use: 1. as it arrived in quick time from Amazon it allowed me the ability to get to work straight away. 2. as the backing of the grip tape is paper so it's a breeze to write on and create a template prior to cutting. 3. as cutting it into the exact shape with a stanley knife and metal ruler was done quickly. 4. as peeling the grip tape away from the paper was quick to separate and simply pull apart. 5. as laying the grip tape just needed a centre push onto the board with my fingers and palm and then out to the edges to avoid bubbles - we don't have any! 6. as the 10" x 36" is such a great size as it allowed me to cover 3 scooters all at once for a great price! The scooters are all being used now and there's no lifting or ripping of the Mr Pen grip tape! Very happy!
