5.11 NBT Duffle Lima Bag

There are a lot of poorly made duffle bags on the market. Duffle bag manufacturers seem to deliberately hide the fact that their bags are made of polyester. Or they highlight a nylon construction but only to state in the fine print that the nylon is limited to less than 5% of its construction. It is a buyer-beware market. The 5.11 products are truly made of nylon. they cost a lot more, but they are 3 to 5x more strong and tear resistant. I also enjoy their ability to be rolled into a tight size to minimize the storage space when not being used. I do not want my closet to be filled with bulky duffle bags. the shoulder strap and grab handles are very comfortable, and are cross stitched for extra strength. The black bag is a great match for my black luggage. I am extremely pleased.

Just received this a few days ago. Bag was perfect for what I was looking for. Plenty of room for a firefighter who works 24 and sometimes 48 hour shifts. Enough roof for a few days worth of clothes etc. Bag was shipped fast and arrived in great condition. Bag is very well made and sturdy. No end pockets (I knew this) and not rigid (I knew this as well) but a great overall bag. Bag has a nice zippered compartment on the inside top lid and an extra removable zippered bag for essentials. Shoulder strap is very wide and comfortable and durable. Love the front Velcro and bag has several other attachment points. Bag expands or restricts with the adjustment straps according to your needs

I used this bag when my wife kicked me out the house when I walked in on her cheating on me, I was able to fit everything I could grab. The stitching is strong, the bag is a perfect size, my only complaint is the velcro could be better. Great product from 5.11

very light and compact. I don't use for check in, and its material is not made for check in. I use when I drive more than 3 days traveling. after using it, it is easy to store and only a little space required.

I was hesitant to purchase due to the reviews on the lack of rigidity of the bag. The bag is in fact "floppy" if there is very little I. The bag it practically collapses when you carry it by the shoulder strap. However, it's made out of pretty good material and I am sure it will last quite a while. It can't be a hassle finding small things in the bag because the bag collapses on itself. Lacks smaller pockets for smaller items so you end up with everything in one big compartment. The hook and loop area is soft but holds patches very well. Zippers are tougher than expected. All in all its 511 and they didn't disappoint.

Bag was made out of tough fabric. I just wish it was more solid. It was very flimsy and had not base support. I sold it to a friend instead.

When you click on 3 stars it says it stands for "OK" and that what this bag is, OK. I'm in the process of replacing a number of older bags I use for work, travel and the range, after doing some research I decided to go with 5.11 and for the most part have been pleased. The range bag is great and looks, feels and functions like your getting something for your $100, same goes for the Side Trip briefcase as well as the Rush Delivery. As for the Lima Duffle Bag, not really much there for the $80+. It's nothing more than a basic Duffle bag you might find at Dick's Sporting Goods or Walmart except their price would be in the $15-$20 range. It just feels so flimsy without any structure, the material feels thin for 1050D, my older duffle bag has a much heavier weight Condura and feels more substantial than this bag. I even have a smaller gym bag with a Swoosh symbol on the side that is made with thinner nylon but has some structure due to rigid piping around the corners. I'm not bashing 5.11, I think they make some really nice products and this bag is OK but just not a good value in my opinion, one review on the 5.11 web page states "it's a great bag for the price", I think it would be a great bag for $20.

Excelente mochila , está echa de muy buenos materiales , aunque se sienten un poco delgados pero se ven resistentes.La mochila es ligera y eso es bueno debido aque le caben una buena cantidad de cosas , hay otras mochilas que el material es más robusto y por consiguiente más pesado pero en este caso la marca 5.11 la hizo pensando en que fuera liviana por la cantidad de cosas que puede cargar .Está echa con muchos detalles , en lo personal se adapta amos necesidades, recomiendo ampliamente.
