I picked up the Talens Art Creation Sketchbook to use for sketching and mixed media, and I’ve been really happy with it! The paper quality is excellent, and it holds up well to different mediums. What I Like: ✅ Thick, Smooth Paper – The 140gsm paper handles pencils, ink, and even light watercolor washes without much bleed-through. ✅ Sturdy Hardcover – The hardcover binding gives it a premium feel and makes it easy to sketch on the go. ✅ Compact & Portable – The size is perfect for carrying in a bag without taking up too much space. ✅ Great Value – With 80 sheets, it lasts a good while, making it a great deal for the price. A Small Note: 🔹 If you’re using alcohol markers or very wet media, there might be some bleed-through—but that’s expected with most sketchbooks at this weight. Final Thoughts: This is a fantastic sketchbook for both beginners and experienced artists. It’s durable, versatile, and a pleasure to draw in. I’ll definitely be picking up another one when I fill this one up!

This is a handy little sketch book, fits in the pocket of your coat or jeans easy, the elastic page holder/finder is very useful especially on a windy day, the paper quality is good for both pencil and ink sketches. light weight and also useful for note taking if using for photography or just a reminder of the colours.

This is my 3rd purchase of this sketchbook. Really good for crayons, color pencil and pencil. Can also handle light watercolor wash which is what I mostly use it for. The paper is not white but has a creamy hue. It doesn't dull colors of your medium. Its small but you can have a bigger canvas if you use both pages. Can fit your pocket if needed. The texture of the cover is soft leather. So it feels luxurious to touch.

These are good for sketches with pen and coloured pencil. I wouldn't recommend them for watercolour, despite the description. They buckle.

It's nice. Works nicely with Gouache, which is lovely. The yellow pages are absolutely chef kiss worthy. A lot of pages with which is wonderful. Wish the paper was cartidge but oh well

Great for all my random drawings. Well worth the money.

Ma marque de sketchbook préférée pour les crayons de couleur, mais fonctionne aussi avec les feutres à alcool, l'encre, feutres acryliques etc...(mais attention aux techniques humides, le papier est fin et je ne me souviens plus si je l'ai utilisé pour la gouache ) Contrairement à un autre commentaire, je trouve que justement la surface lisse permet de faire un bon travail au crayons de couleur, mais ça, ça dépend de votre façon de travailler. Le coté lisse apporte une douceur, qui permet de travailler de façon subtile, légère et de faire nos propres effets en travaillant de façon légère ou plus contrasté, et de mieux fondre les couleurs ensemble. Alors qu'un papier plus texturé créer des effets trop accentué pour mon gout. Je mets des exemples en photos en dessous, pour montrer que le crayon de couleur sied parfaitement à ce papier. ⭐Petite astuce⭐, pour éviter le marquage des pages en dessous ou les bavures pour les techniques humides ou feutres, je mets une feuille épaisse en dessous de celle sur laquelle je travaille.

A+ My new favourite daily sketchbook. Quality paper. Thick enough for mixed media. The off-white colour is great.
