Great quality, but the doors don't open

I bought this as a gift, it looked like a quality product and the recipient was very happy with it.

The years just roll back, the swinging 60s. Corgi always did make the best models

I’ve several corgi Minis from the last 20 years and expected this to be of comparable quality, it is not, aside from the fact mine arrived with a scratch on the roof decal the whole model is clearly a budget model, the doors don’t open, none of the chrome trim of the real car is represented (for example the window surrounds, all other Corgi Minis had this painted) the headlights are just painted on rather than proper clear plastic of other Corgi Minis and the overall paint looks thin. Overall; this is clearly a budget model but not at a budget price, if you already have a Corgi Mini made in the last 20 years or so and expect this will be similar then I think I’d give it a miss unless it were on offer at a decent price.
