Great surge protection!! Easy and fast install time!!!

You cant go wrong with having extra protection on your solar system after you invested so much and solar sytems are not cheap this protector is a reasonable price and it also looks cool in your system with its led indicators.

If you are on the fence, get off. This is for you. I have suffered direct and near direct lightning strikes. Very little will save you from a direct strike, but for everything else, get this unit.

Checkout the product description and comparison with other SPD on youtube. This IS the one you want. Other brand failed me and lost $800 inverter. Easy to install as whole house SPD with another model by same company, but I used this DC one for my inverter to protect from a hit on the PV array on roof.Update: 7/18/19 Almost two years later and many storms and the unit still working and no damage!

The surge protector looks good hanging on the side of my solar combiner box. The little blue lights are cute. I hope I never have to find out how good it works to suppress a major voltage surge. The instructions are good and it wires up easily.
