I loved this firetruck for my grandson so much that I ordered two more for gifts. The lights are very bright & colorful! I love how the firetruck goes until it senses interference & then it changes direction so it doesn't crash into anything! The sound is very loud, so be prepared for lots of noise. It might have been a good option to be able to operate without sound, but that is not possible. Sweet truck for the price! You won't be disappointed!

My son is 2 and 1/2 in recently has found a fascination with fire trucks, so we decided to buy him one, and I found this one it has lights and makes noise that drives itself that's perfect right? So I read the reviews has the most wonderful reviews accept everyone was talking about how loud it was. I honestly just thought those people were crazy and just didn't like kids toys that make sounds, because who does? But this thing has got to be the loudest toy I have ever heard in my entire life! The lady that shove the wax from Babybel cheese in the speaker is a genius, we put a piece of cardboard over it and gorilla taped it on there too quiet it down a little bit cuz we didn't have any cheese. But you're going to want to do something to make this not as loud! Other than that it's amazing and my kid loves it. He doesn't even care that it's that loud, but we do.

At first, this was great, and the kid loved it. After about 10 min of play, the parents were going nuts and the kid had broken off a piece. The wheels that make it turn 360° are soo small that they sometimes mess up because of it and forget using this on carpet, it won't go. The lights and sounds only have one switch so you can't turn them on independently. That means that the whole time the child wants to play with it, it's blaring the sirens. It is really cool for a child who has all hard wood floor in their house and isn't rough at all with their toys. My nephew seems just too tough on it for it to last. It was cool watching him play with it for those 10 min though. The touch sensitive part is exactly like a roomba and that was my favorite part of it. If the kid didn't need to constantly touch it, it would go for a while with all the adults watching and letting it bump into them lol.

Be aware this is plastic. If kids careful it lasts. It is noisy but great for kids. Noise does not bother me. Great buy. Purchased 2 for little ones

This thing has two settings.. Off and literally BLARING! Pretty good size for tod and it moves. I also love the colorful flashing lights... but I can only use this toy once every blue moon due to the siren. It's realistic, constant, and really loud! Like my pets are sent into a frenzy and the whole house has a headache after about 5 mins. It would be really great if it had a volume or button control. Overall good design, probably good for teaching, but not really for our family.

Purchased this noisy firetruck for my nephew...We were looking for a loud toy to annoy his parents. (Pay back time for all the noisy gifts my kids received) This was perfect and my nephew loves it. It's great that it keeps on going and reverses when it hits a wall, so you can actually play with it for a long time. The quality is really great as well, there are not a ton of crazy small pieces that will come apart. Buttons are easily found to turn on and off on the bottom of the toy.

I brought this item in late October for my grandson for Christmas. When I received it I was very disappointed in the size of the truck and felt it was overpriced for its size and considered returning it. Once I put the batteries in the truck to see how it operated, I knew my grandson would be thrilled with it. It talked and moved all over the floor. I thought it was a little loud, but I could deal with that part. I wished I had used my first instance to return it because the day after Christmas, it did not work. It continued to talk but it would did not move at all. My grandson kept asking me why it would not move on the floor like it did on Christmas, and I did not have a clue as to why. He was very disappointed that it would move. I tried to returned it for another one, but was told that my days for returning this toy had run out. I will never never purchase any more toys or games from Amazon even if they are cheaper than other stores. I would rather pay the higher price when I know I can return it especially if I have my receipt than to purchase a toy from Amazon that stops working and you can not return it. This toy is filed in drawer 13, a piece of junk. It continues to talk very loud so I know it is not the batteries, but it will not move. This toy is an overpriced piece of Junk.

ETA: I reached out to the company and they are resolving the situation and sending out a replacement. They were very prompt, courteous, and I would definitely purchase from them again.This truck arrived yesterday and it's pretty cool, but there are some problems. 1. It has no volume control. It's just a blaring siren, a catch phrase, and beeping loudly and constantly. My sons love this but my brain doesn't. 2. It is supposed to move on its own, but it hasn't even been a day and the post that drives it around broke. So now it's just a loud stationary firetruck.The lights are pretty awesome though. I would've rated this higher had it not broken immediately.
