Mr. Pen- Metal Mechanical Pencils, 0.7mm, 2 Pack, Lead Pencil, Mechanical Pencil Metal Mechanical Pencil Mechanical, Mechinal Pencils, Mechanical Drafting Pencil

So far I’ve bought 3 of these have bought several of their other products as well and have not been disappointed in any of their products I have bought! I initially bought one for my Cricut machine to be able to draw things out for me in pencil. I needed a nice sturdy lead that could hold up to the job of being used a lot. Then my son (9) mentioned he wanted a 2B pencil when he got into drawing so I let him try the pencil I had and he loved it so I bought another one for him. He then lost the cone shaped tip that feeds lead into the pencil because he took it apart (completely his fault, not a defect of the pencil at all, he just loves to see how things work and takes stuff apart all the time) so I order a third pencil only to, ironically, have found the lost piece to his other one the night before that third order was to arrive. So now we have an extra on hand to use. I have also ordered the extra graphite set to go with this as well so we won’t run out for a while considering how much he uses up his pencil lead. Those were also of great quality too! As much as he tries, he isn’t so careful with the leads and tends to break them more often than I do especially when he drops his pencil one too many times, but they are still a good quality if you’re more careful. I don’t foresee that these pencils will break on their own anytime soon because they are very sturdy especially considering how cheap and affordable they are! I also love how this set comes in a plastic case and not just a throw out packaging as pictured. It keeps the product way more protected. Also, my son loves the colored pencil option to switch out colors and that they are also erasable which is harder to come by in a colored pencil. But, ultimately, I love Mr Pen brand and love a company I can stand behind especially when they say to contact them if you have any issues no longer how long you’ve have their products so they can try and make it right! To me, that means they stand by their stuff and want to make sure their customers are happy with their purchase! That alone to me, is a great reason to buy from them! Also, the mustache stickers are an awesome touch! My kids always fight over them when I get a new order of their products! Lol!! My only 2 gripes are 1) that this sized pencil does not come in a multi pack. It does with other sizes, but not of the same size. That was a bummer when I was shopping for more to buy the third time around and would have happily bought a few sets of those if they came that way in the 2B 2.0mm size! And 2) the eraser is small. I hardly use mine, but I encourage my son to use a bigger one if he’s erasing a larger area as to not eat up his erasers so much if he can help it. Obviously there are refills we have and can buy, I just don’t think they are meant to handle erasing larger areas with anyways. Other than that, we love these pencils! They are smooth, the ‘lead’ is strong and thick and the pencil itself is comfortable to use and looks nice! I definitely have and will buy these again!

These mechanical pencils are well made. The 0.3mm is extremely fine. The lead seems to be extra hard. Of course you need to be careful when using them because the lead will break easily. I found that if I'm careful that's not a problem. Generally I find the Mr. Pen products to be good.

Though both pens are usable, one is slightly damaged and the lead tip doesn't screw in all the way

I’ve had this pencil for a little over a year now, and it’s served me well through out my late junior and senior years in Highschool. The feel and comfort are great, and it’s easy to write with. However, the erasers kinda suck. So much is hidden inside the housing that barely any is useable leading to quite a bit of waste, and they go quickly, so I’d recommend carrying an eraser alongside you to avoid any headaches. One pencil broke at the tip, making it so the lead broke easier and more frequently, however the 2nd pencil I’ve been using for the majority of the time has been great. Just be careful with the tip to avoid any breakage. I look forward to using this throughout college, and am impressed with the price and quality they’ve offered. Edit: I’ve come to realize the eraser issue is my own fault, as the bracket that holds it in place got shoved down inside the barrel of the pencil. However, Mr.Pen has sent me 2 free replacements, 5 stars all around!

Nice write and feel, but constantly got jammed and tip loosened. I decided to replace with a different pencil/brand.

Stainless steel, incredibly thin. Best for discrete portability. Brief notes. Incredible value. Great value for discrete travel. Get wider diameter writing tool if writing for long stretches of time. And/or a softer lead pencil graphite lead such as a 2B set of a dozen leads.

would recommend it feels like very good quality and i like the thicker lead if your looking for a drafting pencil this one is my new favourite
