Q: What type of salmon is used? package says nothing about source. amazon description says "wild salmon from iceland". website says "wild alaskan salmon"

The Zesty bottle has labeling of "pure wild Alaskan salmon"

Q: Is there a trick to getting the pump to "pop up"? I know it sounds ludicrous but I can't do it!

After trying all the hints, I used BronxRev comments and it worked! I used my phone flashlight and looked at the top of the pump, it has a very small arrow indicating which direction to turn the pump (counterclockwise). Then I took pump off the bottle, washed off the oil I wasted, abd dried the pump. I got a paper towel and gripped the clear tube part very hard. Then I used my right hand to rotate the very top of the pump (mine was orange) while keeping hard grip on the lower clear area of pump. And after a few seconds of rotating the top orange part, it came loose and popped open. TG!! They need to either fix this design or put in a little video showing how! Gotta go now and take a shower cuz I feel like its needed so I can get rid if the fushy smell!!!

Q: fish oil isn't properly absorbed in dogs unless vitamin E is also added to the diet. Is there vitamin E in this supplement?

Hello!Fish oil absorption is possible without vitamin E, in both cats and dogs. An excessive amount of fish oil, however, may cause difficulties with the pet's absorption of Vitamin E. Therefore it is extremely important to always follow, and never exceed, the recommended dose.Rose - Zenwise Labs

It does need to be kept in the refrigerator after opening to maintain freshness. There is no expiration on the packaging (I looked on my bottle). In the refrigerator it should last 9-10 months if it falls into line with other natural salmon oils I have used in the past. You won't use it all due to her size as she will only be taking a half a teaspoon a day. Another thought, you can make treats with the salmon oil too. This way you can share with other canine friends :) hope this helps!

My dog loves it!

My shepherd can be very picky and if she thinks something like 'medicine' is in her food- she just refuses. I started her on this to prevent any joint issues in the future, and she absolutley loves it! Which is good- because if I ever had to give her joint medicine- it would be impossible.

Love the product

Have been giving zesty paw salmon oil to my itchy scratchy dog for years and he now has thick coat.However, this purchase I did not receive the pump for the bottle. Fortunately I have not thrown away the old bottle so could transfer the old pump over.It's easier to control the amount with the number of pump of the oil do its important to include this.
