Works as it should

I purchased this pillow in hopes of relieving my neck pain, as I had been using a different brand that worked wonderfully. Unfortunately, that brand was out of stock, so I decided to give this one a try. After just TWO NIGHTS, the pillow flattened and became useless. To make matters worse, I discovered that this product is NON-RETURNABLE, which is not clearly stated upfront. It’s buried in the fine print on the sidebar, making it easy to overlook. Let's be clear—99% of products on Amazon are returnable, so this lack of transparency is unacceptable. Do yourself a favor and think long and hard before wasting your money on this poorly made pillow. Save yourself the hassle and frustration—there are far better options out there."

It was not firm enough to stop my neck pain. May work for someone without neck pain issues.

Because the foam is heat sensitive, this roll can be quite firm to begin with so isn't ideal immediately, but it's won me over. Here's why. I find a neck roll suits me better than a pillow at night because my hair doesn't end up mashed to my head, but finding the right type of support for both back and side sleeping is really a challenge.I have tried four different types of rolls, one of which is a U shaped neck support thing from BB&B that I love for back sleeping at night in the winter because the size and support is good and it keeps my neck warm (it's by Bedding Essentials and isn't sold on Amazon), but when I turn over it doesn't work anymore so I set out to find a roll that would work. My first requirement was that the roll not be too long because then my hair is still mashed and since I'm retired I don't want to wash and restyle it every day. 12" seemed good so I tried three rolls of that length. One, a firm density lumbar roll was far too firm for neck support and was sent back, the second is a simple 12" x 5" foam roll. It is also quite firm although better. It has only a cheap fabric covering though with not even a zipper to close it. I'm not impressed.This roll has a far more comfortable soft fabric covering that zips closed. When you first lay back against the pillow, it's quite firm, some may think too firm, in fact, when it was delivered and had sat outside in the cold for a while it was like a stone. But when it warms from your body heat, it softens quite pleasantly to conform to your shape. I put it under the blankets in my bed and when I turn on my side at night, I grab it for my pillow. Then it is just right as the foam compresses nicely to give the right amount of comfort and good support. And best of all, it accommodates my ear nicely so my ear is never sore or itchy in the morning as has happened with firmer rolls. Also the pillow doesn't seem to aggravate my rosacea which is made worse by too much heat.While this pillow is not perfect and I wouldn't choose it for traveling because it needs time to warm up, it's the best I've found so far for nighttime.

Exactly as promised. Did not expect this pillow to perform as promised, but it did! Great price and fast delivery. Highly recommend.

I was disappointed with this neck pillow . It's just a little on the big side and too firm to be comfortable as a neck pillow . There's no way to remove batting to lighten the pillow gotComfort so you're stuck with how it is .I had 5 cervical levels fused in my neck and thought this pillow would help support my head and neck while reclined on the couch but it's too big and too firm - causes me pain to use .
