Springbok's 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle Hot Rod Cafe - Made in USA

This cool puzzle is quite challenging and in 2 areas in particular it is quite difficult to assemble. Be prepared to spend some extra time on the tree in the upper left hand area and the blackish vehicle down in the lower left hand corner. But isn't this, after all, what us puzzlers are looking for? A simple rapidly assembled puzzle is not half as fun as one like this where you are just having a hard time with it but not getting so frustrated you want to quit. I simply walk away from this one for a day or 2 and come back fresh and lo and behold it begins to reveal its secrets for awhile before I have to stop again. I loved this puzzle and I think that Springbok is more designed for the serious puzzle solver ie; to be challenged is more than half the fun of it. I have never encountered missing pieces in any Springbok puzzle and the shapes of the pieces are strange and unusual so you can't simply pile all the similar pieces together and expect to easily figure it out. The colorations are bright and clear and the pieces really can only go in one place unlike some other manufacturers that do not have such distinctive shaping with their pieces. I'm sold on Springbok even though the difficulty level is almost over my head but I really enjoy them. I have purchased numerous other puzzles from one of their main competitors and have become very frustrated with their increasingly usual characteristic of having missing pieces and so I think I will stick with Springbok. I'm kind of new to this whole thing but it is readily apparent to me that Springbok must be the pinnacle. This one here is a GREAT!!!!! puzzle.Give it a try and see for yourself whether or not I'm right.

This was a highly enjoyable puzzle, quality made, no missing pieces. I liked the oddly shaped pieces.

I will try to be as honest as possible because I depend on other people's reviews and feel I want to help the best I can: Bought this Puzzle for my Father for Christmas based on the good reviews and others on the internet claiming this brand is one of the top brands for a quality made puzzle. I personally was impressed with the colorful pictures on the box and the thickness of the box that holds the puzzle pieces but I did not open it myself. After giving this puzzle to my father as a gift, he has reported that he loves the quality of the puzzle pieces themselves and is already happily building the puzzle. The price seems reasonable and the quality is top notch. Good Luck.

I had a lot of fun building this puzzle; lots of color and contrast. The only problem with puzzles is that you don't know if your missing pieces until it's finished. This puzzle was no exception. In the end, it was missing three pieces, an utter disappointment. I use a puzzle board and do not lose pieces. I built another puzzle right after this one, and again, it was missing three pieces! What is it with puzzles these days? I've never had a problem with missing pieces before. Why now? You be the judge.

Great art, beautifully done. Colors are very vibrant. Box is large and reference pic is easy to follow. I love the odd shaped pieces, really adds a nice twist to the challenge. Goes together quickly, maybe not difficult enough if you are an advanced puzzler. Only con: Several of the pieces were not cut all the way thru and had to be tediously separated by hand. Otherwise, worth getting past that small aggravation and enjoyable to work with.

Springbok puzzles are the best

My husband and I really enjoy Springbok puzzles. Each piece is unique, which make it challenging. The pieces are nice and thick. Sometimes, however, the die cut doesn't cleanly cut the pieces and we have to leave them intact in order to keep from tearing them apart.

Great car puzzles and very complex

A little disappointed in some pieces not cut all the way through, resulting in hours of cleaning ragged edges with a hobby blade. The other issue is how dirty/dusty all the pieces are! You end up with blue fingers (blue being the backing color) as well as blue dust all over your table. This puzzle is apparently from the number one, and the oldest jigsaw maker in America?… Surely time to sharpen your cutting machine and de-dust the puzzle pieces..
