My cats are jerks
I have never seen my cats ignore anything as hard as they ignore this. My cats can be jerks.

They like it! They really like it!
Must start out with a caveat. We're talking about a cat toy. It's hard to get a good feeling about a cat toy from customer reviews, because cats insist on having their own minds about things! So I think this is one of those cases where it's not really possible to look at how many 5 stars there are and how many 1 stars there are and make a good judgement on how your individual cat is going to respond. I usually look at other reviews to decide whether to buy a product - that's not as possible with a cat toy! That said, my 2 girls actually like this toy. I put ours together in a loop. The thing that makes this toy different from other, similar "ball in a loop track" toys that I've bought is that this one has elevated portions. I think the fact that the ball does have more movement when they play with it makes a difference.I heard them both playing with it when I went to bed last night. And they were playing with it again this morning. I was pleasantly surprised that this one was a hit.I also like the construction of this product. I bought another "track" type toy a while back and the pieces didn't fit together snugly enough; the ball would catch on the connection between the pieces and not move easily. This toy snaps together better and seems to be a better quality item than the other one I got.For the cost that this item is here, I would recommend trying it. It's worth a shot to see if your cat likes to play with it. You might be surprised.(Wanted to also reiterate a fact that others have asked about above - this toy is completely "paw-powered" - there isn't anything moving the ball except the paw (and sometimes the owner's hand! It's kinda fun to play with myself!) Others have questioned the size of the openings. I was concerned about that when I looked at it as well. However, my cats don't have a problem getting in it and pushing the ball around.)

My dogs like everything, including cat toys
As someone who is owned by cats, I am constantly looking for toys to entertain and amuse my furry kids. My dogs like everything, including cat toys, but the cats are harder to shop for. They usually prefer the box. I liked this cat toy.The box includes one small light up ball, and six easy to snap together pieces. The ball was lit for about a week, and then stopped lighting. There is no on/off switch on the ball, if there was it probably would affect it's ability to roll smoothly. There are 4 curved pieces of track so that you can make a circle, and two small end pieces so that you could opt to make a wavy line instead. There are openings on the top portion of the pieces so that a cat can bat at the ball while it moves along the track. If I give the ball a tap in the track it spins around in a circle 2 or 3 times. One of my cats is mildly entertained for a minute or two by this toy, but he really enjoys literally sitting in the middle of the circle it forms. He seems to think it makes a good throne for him. When I formed it into a wavy line it did not appeal to him at all.As for the box, my cats could probably curl up in one at a time it if it were a top opening box, but this is a side opening box. If you are a cat person, you will understand what I mean by this.

GREAT ITEM EXCEPT THE BALLS DONT LAST AND NOT FOR OLDER CATS UNLESS YOU HAVE YOUNG ONES TO WATCH
I would defiently buy again... I DID...I have purchased 3 of these! The cats LOVE them... this item will keep them entertained while also teaching them different things! It’s in the top 5 of our favorite toys!!!If you have an older cat, he probably will have no use for it, UNLESS you have younger cats that play with it, he will sit an watch them play... later when no one is paying attention he will attempt it!This is wonderful to have and start it as young as possible!!Its sooooo much fun to watch them playing with it, especially 2 playing together !!The ONLY reason I didn’t give it 5 stars, and the reason I have 3, is due to the balls stop lighting! We got our first one (bigger one) December 2017, the ball worked fine for 6 months... I thought 6 months was acceptable, and at that point it would be a 5 star !!Then I ordered TWO packs of the set of balls to replace, giving me 4 new balls! They did not fit the track and so they became regular balls !! The lighting on those four lasted from 1 month to 6 weeksI like this thing so much it was worth it to me to just order a new one in hopes that ball would also last several months! It lasted 2 WEEKS!!I then ordered this one, smaller track about 3 months ago and that ball is still working! I transfer it between the 3 tracks !!THE BALLS ARE THE ONLY REASON THIS ISN'T A 5 STAR!!

Very good for a developing cat
Had a little undersized kitten for a while and she loved this toy. She didn't quite grasp how to hit the ball at first until I showed her with my finger and then she realized. She would hit the ball to one end and run to follow it and hit it back and forth. I would also hit it around with her and she loved to see where it would go. I configured the circuit as an 'S' and she loved to jump over from one side to the other to beat up the ball. The light is very sensitive to vibration, so your cat will be drawn to the red light as it will be on for the cat to see and track. Circuit has spaces in the top of the blue tunnels for kitten's paw to fit to hit the ball. The plastic pieces were a bit of a pain to assemble/reassemble (I'm always concerned that I'll break it), so bring your patience to the assembly!

Great Play
The media could not be loaded. My kittens, Mango and Chutney (9.5wks) Catit Senses Speed Circuit have been playing with it today. I have lots of toys for them and rotate them so they are not bored. But they took to this and were playing for about 20 minutes before going to the next toy (which is the long tunnel). Catit Senses Speed Circuit

Great quality... but...
When it comes to the quality - it's excellent.Have had it for a few months now, and it's withstood the abuse of four cats, and the hoover. :) Only thing that's happened it a load of tiny little intentations from cat teeth on the seethrough plastic on the top. It's easy to put together (remember to push the seethrough tops a little side-ways so they stick in place), just like a puzzle. However - the cats will NOT use it unless there's a human there to play with them. Four of the cats will happily come and play if one of us (it's in the "cat room"... no, the cats aren't locked in there, but there's a babygate on the doorframe, as it's the room where the litter trays are, to stop the dogs "snacking" from them! We also put the Catit tracks there, to make sure the dogs wouldn't chew it to pieces) sits down next to it, but they never play with it unless one of us is there. It defeats the purpose we got it for, we were hoping it would entertain the kitties by themselves now and then. :)We got it together with the CatIt Senses Play Circuit and have put the two together, so it's a good size, and when we're there, there's often 4 of the cats there at the same time playing with it.Cats have no preference when it comes to the balls though. We got both the one with the light, and the one without, on the track, and they'll play with them both equally. CatIt Senses Play Circuit

Brilliant
I nearly didn't buy this as my cat never touches any toys I buy her, but I felt like spoiling her yet a again and how glad I was that I did.She never leaves it alone, plays with it all of the time, she pats it to start the light flashing and then bats the ball from end to end (I put it together in a long snake rather than round circuit) The ball never gets stuck and it lights up loads, my cat loves playing outside and is a real mouser and birder so I wasn't sure if she would even look at this kind of toy but having read the good reviews I gave it a go.I can recommend it but I how fussy cats are so just because my cat goes crazy for it whilst never looking at any other toy I have bought her the next cat may have a completely different view on it! I am going to buy another one to make a longer track.

Great toy
My cats loved this. Wish it was a tad bigger however as my biggest one have a bit if issues with getting his paws in. Had it for a few weeks now and ball still lights up, still not broken down. Will probably buy another so we can add to the one we got.

Don't waste the money
Not worth the money, the ball flashes for about 3 seconds and not much ball movement
