Simple, cheap and good.
This isn't the most beautiful-looking or sophisticated microwave, but we'd read very positive reviews and decided to try it.It's great: simple, clear design and good functionality. There are no unnecessary bells or whistles. It just works, and works well. It seems to defrost better and more evenly than more expensive ones we've had in the past.A good buy.------Update May 2022This is still good, still going strong without obvious signs of wear. Still satisfied!

good value basic model
Cheap and cheerful microwave which is absolutely fine for basic use. You cannot time your cooking precisely like with a digital screen but that rarely matters when heating up food or drink. Three power settings and defrost is ample. Ideal when space is tight but this means that you cannot get big dishes inside. No complaints so far..........

Could do with a handle
In fact could do with a couple of handles. The microwave is simple to use. Just give the timer knob a quick twist. You soon learn were to turn it to and can do it with your eyes closed so to speak, and as it's 700 watt the cooking instructions for most ready meals is a quick four minutes, stir, then four more minutes. So it's a quick turn of the knob, stir and another quick twist of the knob and it's done. The microwave looks small at first sight but it's a bit like the TARDIS inside. My large dinner plate fits in easily but looks as though it doesn't, but it does. Very quiet and economical, BUT the thing needs a couple of handles! The door swings open so quickly and firmly when you press the 'open' button that it can give you a quite good rap on the knuckles and, when you close the door carefully, it snaps shut so firmly that it could easily give you a right good nip on the fingertips. Perhaps not suitable for the very elderly. Overall a jolly good buy. But needs a couple of handles.NB. The photos on the top of the review page are NOT of the Comfee 700 watt microwave but of some other microwave that has handles.

Simple little microwave
Chose this as it was the Which? Best Buy.We got one for our holiday cottage where things just need to be easy to use, and another for my elderly uncle who once built torpedoes but now struggles with the tv remote. It's simple to use - just turn the timer knob to the desired cooking time and off it goes. You can also set the power level if you don't want it on full. This makes it a perfect choice for both our requirements - no instruction book required. It's fairly small but big enough for a normal dinner plate. The door release button is quite stiff - my uncle manages it ok but we had to teach him to press the left hand end of the button furthest from its hinge point to reduce the amount of force required. If you just need a basic microwave that's simple to use - this is the one.

A perfect, inexpensive Microwave
This small microwave is still large enough inside to take a dinner plate, which my old one wasn't. It looks attractive and now that I use the correct microwave cooking containers won't go rusty from the condensation caused during heating. It isn't 'all singing, all dancing' but my requirement is simply that it defrosts meat, cooks vegetables and boiled eggs and heats up left overs. It achieves these things 100% and quickly!

Small and Simple with Terrible Timer.
Comfee 20L 700w microwave - It works fine with good range of power settings and this item is a Which best buy, but I don’t know why ? The Timer (manual turn spring knob) is terrible and very inconsistent. I have also found that over the months of use it is now very inaccurate, as in 1 minute on the timer lasts for over 3 minutes. I compensate for this by reducing the power level. It’s very difficult to get anything like accurate timings. I would not recommend and would not buy again = put the money on this towards something that works better or buy the digital version.

Basic but brilliant
Got this for my motorhome after reading the Which review. Not disappointed at all. It doesn't have all the whistles and bells but it does what it's meant to do brilliantly !Very happy indeed and no hesitation in recommending this item.
